I am not the person who leaves a nasty review after one bad experience - anyone can have a bad day. But this is honestly the worst Chinese food we've ever had. Ordered take-out and it was so bad I actually returned it. Fried rice and hot-sour soup were ok - not great, but fine. The crab rangoons were literally inedible - they tasted like old crumbly dough. Bang Bang shrimp - big shrimps for sure, but hardly any flavor, really bland. Some noodle/chicken/veggie dish - a good portion but again no flavor. No sauce hardly, just super bland - not good at all. I actually returned the uneaten rangoons and the noodle dish. They weren't happy but they agreed to give me my money back for those two dishes.
Now this is going to sound bad, and granted I have only been inside this restaurant one time, but when I was there there wasn't a patron in the place under 70 years old. Maybe that is why the food was so bland - they are catering to elderly people from the midwest who don't know any better. I may be wrong, just an...

The house fries rice is missing the authentic flavor and the chicken that comes with it is dry. The spicy eggplant is lacking flavor and spice. Now I have to find some place else.
Very authentic Chinese restaurant. Plain but clean decor. Servers tend to be less than friendly. Service also tends to be slow even when it’s moderately busy. Food is usually spot on. Don’t ask for brown rice or substitutions. Menu is big enough to have something for everyone. Duck is really good and many dishes can be made house style with chicken, beef and shrimp. Certain staples, like hot and sour soup, broccoli beef and veggie dishes are better than most places in the valley. Some sauces, like the one in chow mein, are bland. I understand authentic Chinese food tends to not be Americanized. So if you want authentic, this is the...
Read moreVery disappointed with the service. We ordered the diner for 2 and were served the soup then the appetizers in perfect timing and they were great. Then we sat there for 45 minutes waiting for the main course. Everyone around us that came in after us we served and finishing up. Our waitress looked over at us finally and went to the register to see what was going on. She didn't even come over to say anything just called over the other servers to see what happened. They did not approach us as they were going into the kicthen. I called them over and they didn't even apologize and just used the language barrier as their excuse. What a joke ! I said bill us for the first part and we are gone. No remorse as they said it's how they serve the dinner, I don't think so, they forgot to put in the rest of the order. Food is good but the people who run it don't like their jobs. We will never go...
