Experienced pretty terrible customer service during a visit here with my wife. To give some backstory here, this location is normally booked out on the weekends. My wife noticed the evening before that an appointment had opened up for the following day with Patrice, most likely due to a cancellation. So I called the location to see if it was possible to book this opening for my wife with one of my mother's credits that she has accumulated during the pandemic when they were closed. The female employee on the phone confirmed the opening and held the time under my wife's profile (she's a prior member). Once she confirmed it was on hold, she told me that all I would need to do is have my mother call over and transfer a credit to cover the visit. Within less than 5 minutes my mother calls to transfer the credit, confirms my wife's phone number, and is told we are all set. When we arrive for the appointment, the female at the desk tells my wife that there is no booking under her name or profile. Instead, they had booked someone else for that timeslot. When I told them that I called to book for her the day before, the employee confirms that she was the one I spoke with. She then proceeds to tell us that they held the spot until midnight (not even open that late) and that because I didn't call back again, they booked it out with someone else. I was never told that I would need to call back to confirm the appointment I just requested to hold, which they confirmed with my mother a mere 10 minutes later after transferring the credit. Hello poor communication...What baffles me is that between 8 am and 11am the day of the appointment, they never called us back (my wife's phone number is on her profile) to tell us they were canceling our hold/appointment. Read moreI scheduled an appointment on Friday, for the following Sunday at 2:30 pm. I have been dealing with chronic neck pain which has been giving me headaches/ migraines. I am also 7 weeks expecting, with my very 1st. I was not asking for any prenatal services, purely wanted to the 90 minute session on my neck and upper back. I understand if it’s company policy to only be operated on by someone certified by prenatal- regardless of what type of massage I got for their legal safety but they did not explain that. Again, this is my first time being pregnant I don’t know all the legalities for certain places. All they kept saying when I told them I was pregnant is my massage therapist can’t do prenatal massages because she wasn’t certified to do so. I told them I don’t need a prenatal massage , only on my neck - This happened on the phone when I made the appointment too. We went back and forth a few times as I was explaining, and then they finally said they get it and they scheduled me. I got a text morning of, saying they see in my notes I was pregnant and they’re not certified to do prenatal massages so they had to reschedule. I called the location again and told them I DONT NEED A PRENATAL MASSAGE , I have had chronic neck pain that has been interfering with my job and overall health at this point. They made me hold and had someone else got on the line where she FINALLY told me it doesn’t matter that type of massage I get they cannot touch me if they’re not certified for prenatal at all due to legality reasons. It’s not the reasoning that makes me write this review- it’s the lack of clear communication on their end. I’ve done massage envy before and I’ve loved their work. I’m really dissatisfied with the lack of clear communication and honestly stressed even more because of how severe my neck pain is and how desperate I was looking forward to this massage.
