Pete's Fish & Chips — Restaurant in Phoenix

I visited this location other times in the past, it used to be good. But lately it has gotten from bad to worse. I purchased the #2 with a side of lg rings for my mom since she loves Pete's fish and chips, she said that it wasn't long after she ate the shrimp she regurgitated. And as far as the drink that comes with the meal when we took the lid off of it, it had some black substance floating around and some particles had already set in the bottom of the cup. I should have taken a picture of it but my granddaughter emoted out the drink before I could act . Pete's if you're not changing your oil enough I advise you to do so at least every hour, I know it's frustrating giving all the customers you have, but we as paying customers deserve healthy, good and clean tasting food. I further advise to make sure your shrimp isn't spoiled before you serve it!

Also clean out your ice machine and soda machines we don't want to drink dirt, as paying customers we deserve the best not only do we pay enough money for what we're ordering it's your obligation to make sure it's high...

I'm visiting Phoenix for the first time I researched Pete's Fish and Chips before showing up. They are as proud of this establishment as El Paso is proud to call Chico's Tacos their own. I knew in advance you have to eat outside at a picnic table and that you are to eat with your hands. No plastic ware is provided. It is cash only. I ordered the #2 special (2 fish, 7 shrimp, fries and a 32 oz. Drink. I paid an upcharge for substituting onion rings for fries. I asked for a magnet souvenir and the girl asked "nuts or no nuts?" I told her a magnet like you stick on a refrigerator, not a brownie. It took 3 tries to get the magnet. It was free. Although it took a while for the order, it was hot and fresh. I expected some tartar sauce but instead received 3 cocktail sauces. It worked. The fish were small and square, like McDonald's. The shrimp were a breaded strip that contained small shrimp. first and last time at this location. Cash only no big deal. Pull up to the speaker and order 2 Burritos 1 icee and 1 fry. They dont repeat the order and tell you to pull around......where you are greeted by an 8 year old on a cash register (not sure what child labor laws this place is not following, but that is my next call after this and yes i have pictures on my phone and video of her working). She tells me $22. I said for 2 buritos, 1 icee and 1 fry and she shrugs her shoulders. I pay.....I get my food, and receipt and look at it.......I got charged for 3 fries, and when I said something the drive thru attendant started yelling at me saying i ordered 3 fries and I know I only ordered one. The manager lady comes over and nobody does a damn thing. I hope the $6 and change they stole from me helps them out, because they are going to be in...
