Pizza Patrón South Central Ave. — Restaurant in Phoenix

Very, very interesting. Our first, but not to be last experience with Pizza Patrón allowed us to discover Pizza Patron’s unique, noteworthy and tasty take on an American standard and Italian Culinary Legacy fare. I’m not the pizza connoisseur in the family, my wife is. And when she states she enjoyed Patrón, it’s got to be at the least pretty good. We’ve tasted a lot; I mean a lot of franchise and run of the mill pizza joints in the Valley and never fully satisfied with most of them! I’m not speaking of high-end, one-off, $40+ pizzerias… but your comforting and affordable local, one-of-kind or franchise joints like take home or delivered types. This is absolutely different! They certainly have pushed the boundaries with their unique style of Pizza! They’ve been able to introduce the daring Southwestern ethos in not only the flavors, ingredients and methods – but have the creativity, standalone, and intensity of our local culture into it. Worst pizza in Phoenix. Ordered online, supposed to be ready in 20 minutes. Took them an hour and a half for a small order. My uncle sat in the restaurant for almost an hour waiting to pick it up. Then it was undercooked and doughy. Even worse, the wings were raw. Someone's getting a side of food poison with their pizza.

Not enough employees and the ones working there are kids. The prices have also gone way up. Might as well spring for Barros if you're going to pay this much. I've had good Pizza Patron before. The one in Glendale is great. This one... no way. Never again. They couldn't pay...

I went in and had a pick up order 7/13/23 and as the lady cashier was helping someone, I guess a worker walks in and hands her a vape. She proceeded to tell him it was the wrong kind and had it on top of the guys pizza box. Once she noticed she apologized to him and gave him his pizza so they could leave. Thennn pulls out her own vape and it’s the Same kind or whatever. Then asks if I have a pick up. The whole situation was very awkward and uncomfortable. I enjoyed the pizza though. With all said that man on the phone at the same time taking orders was very professional...
