I was waiting for my fiancé to get off the phone so we could order dinner but my 7 year old needed to use the restroom so we went in before my fiancé and asked if my daughter could use the potty and they turned us down. Food is good, but compassion and kindness is lacking. I wouldn't support a business with this type of leadership.

I called them and talked to them about it and the guy that answered the phone said it was the owner that turned us away, I asked to speak to the owner thinking she would at least hear me out, there was no sympathy or apology. I would recommend Chipotle and or Chik-fil-a.

I have no issue with a business saying the restroom is for customers only, which we are (were), we have been there twice in the past week and we where planning to order again, however instead of just being polite and honest saying it was for customers so I could have responded with the fact that we were just waiting to order, she lied and said “actually it’s closed”. Integrity and kindness is more important to me and defines a persons character, that fact that this came from the owner is very disappointing. Maybe this is the reason that is was always empty when we went in. I was trying to support local small businesses during this time, but it’s hard to support this type of behavior. Maybe it was the color of my skin that was the issue?...

I normally go to the poke in Peoria. The service is great food is great as always. I had been to this place one time before where there were 2 young boys working the counter. Provided good service and asked for my phone number for the points. The second time I went the girls working were cold and rude and not very pleasant to deal with. At the end where they are supposed to ask for my number for my points they didnt. And when I brought it up she said yea sorry. Supposed to do that before you pay. Ok so can you fix it I asked so I can get my points. No she responded. Needless to say I go to poke a lot. And this was horrible. My date I was with was even upset and it being his first time there. He was just as upset as I was at their behavior. I would go back but I fear that I'll get the same rude treatment like I did. I even told one of the guys at the Peoria location and he compensated me by giving me a free beverage even though it wasnt his problem. The Peoria location is where I will stay loyal to as they provide good customer service. I would hope that a manager sees this so that they know what kind of people they have working for them. I have worked in the food industry before so I know this behavior is not acceptable. Dont like your job quit. Plenty of other people would kill to have a job and they would be happy to take...

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! If I could leave 0 stars I would. I went in for the first time this evening around 7pm (12-21-2024). Asked for two Poke bowls, one with a rice base and one with tofu as the base. The employee said she had to check with her manager and came back and said she couldn't do that. I was surprised so I asked to speak with the manager. I explained that my wife didn't want rice, she wanted tofu as the base and I was willing to pay more for it. The manager said that there were too many proteins and she couldn't do that. I said even if I'm willing to pay more and she replied yes. I'm shocked that she couldn't think outside the box and have me pay extra for a side of tofu versus turning down business. I guess that is the difference between an owner and a bean counter... very...

First time being to a poké bar and god damn yum! There's so many combinations you can choose from, because you are the one picking what you will have as a base (rice, salad, noodles or even tortilla chips), a protein (tuna, salmon, scallop, shrimp, octopus, albacore or tofu), a mix-in (different greens), a sauce (sweet, spicy, sour, your pick), a side (cucumber, seaweed or imitation crab) and of course a topping (from avocado to wasabi to sesame seeds and more). There's really plenty to choose from and you should try the poké bowl at least once. 💜

Having been to many Poke restaurants, I was hoping this one would stand out. The employees were polite. The perfect amount of rice was nice as others seem to fill the bowl with rice. The fish looked fresh and tasted great. The vegetables were fresh as well which topped off the bowl perfectly. I will definitely be coming back to this location soon. Update 6-1-24 3rd time here, just as good experience as the 1st. Highly recommend trying it.

This place has gone totally downhill. I typically come here at least 1x/week. However, this will be my last visit to this location. The recently changed the shrimp (they are not deveined now), there has been a water leak for weeks, dripping from the ceiling and now smells musty (not something you want to smell while you are eating).
