I doordash to this location and its the worst. awful parking and the pickup window has no shade.
edited after their reply: maybe let us pick up inside like every other normal location i pick up at instead of making us wait in all day long direct sunlight with misters that blow the wrong way. It would also be great if the parking lot had better spaces for dashers than halfway across the place due to your inconvenient dividers and terrible layout for drivethrough. when i dash, ive started declining this restaurant because its so awful. ive even have staff tell me to go thru the drive thru after waiting ten min at the window once. never had these issues at the other locations. its very interesting how they only provide shade in the drive through for their customers and employees but dont give a damn about the people who pick up their orders and deliver for their convenience as a job. hate this place. i def wouldnt come here as a customer judging by the reviews i just read anyways about a drunk manager and constantly getting orders wrong. we live in arizona, not colorado….. heat kills here.
oh and every time i have run into your difficult orders, i have always reported your problems to doordash as a dasher. i dont know what that truly affects, but it cant be good if they look at that data since orders take so long and get cancelled and they have a bottom line as a business.
maybe people should order from popeyes instead. its ethical, better food and ive never had an issue with them as a dasher. oh and guess what! no bizarre drive thru layout where people can die of the heat! dashers can pick up at the drive thru or indoors and they dont force you to stand in the sun. as a customer too the food is just way better. not bland and soggy. oh and did i say ethical? i dont know the last time i heard popeyes owners lobbying for less human rights….
since i originally left this review i picked up at this location a few more times before i decided no more. i would have deleted this review but it is obvious they do not care. so i think it deserves to stand unless something is done for health and safety reasons, all my opinions about the actual company itself aside. the final straw for me professionally was when they made me wait nearly fifteen minutes for a simple combo only for the customer to get fed up and cancel my job, deciding to order elsewhere due to this wait. my time is my money. i am not salary like you, manager, or hourly like your underpaid employees. i get paid per order and i avoid your establishment as it is the worst one i have picked up from in the chain. period. why waste my time when you dont value that or my health?
OH YEAH and did you know they have the infrastructure for a mobile pickup window but only for customers :) if you want to deliver you have to nearly die. and that line is always empty. easy to see when you wait there for ten minutes in the heat with no employee talking to you and all you can see is the shaded empty mobile order drive thru. and you can watch the misters blow the cool air into the pickup window for the employees and not for pickup drivers. i get that you dont care for our health and safety the way you do about your customers and then your employees after but i guess whatever. wanna copy and paste...

My friend then decided he would like his well done too. The cashier rang this up and then the manager (assistant manager?) came over and told us it was impossible to get those sandwiches well done. I asked him why and he told me it was against corporate policy. This made no sense to me, so I asked if they were actually grilled, and he said yes and left it at that. We both decided to go ahead with the meal.
Three minutes later our food comes out (fast, right?). My friend and I start eating the sandwiches and they were barely room temperature. We took a couple of bites and decided we were done. I contemplated asking for my money back as the two meals were almost $20, but I decided that I didn't want to go through the hassle. I did however go back up for a refill on the drink at which point the same manager guy asked me how the sandwiches were. I told him they were not good because they were not much warmer than room temp. I asked him if they were grilling the chicken and then storing it, and he said yes. I advised him to look into his storage methods because, honestly, this is going to get someone very ill.
The danger zone for hot food is 134 degree F and less, and I guarantee those sandwiches were not 135 degrees. Food in the danger zone allows microorganisms to multiply and spread in the food and can make someone very ill.
I have an all-night drive ahead of me, and I'm hoping the food does not make me ill. The lesson here is if a place says that they can't cook something well done or actually deliver their "hot" food hot, you should...
Read moreI don't want to complain about Chick-fil-A as a brand, since I've had almost entirely great experiences at restaurants across the U.S. My recent experience with delivery from this particular location, however, was atrocious. For starters, I received no knock or notification when the driver left my food on the ground in front of my door. The previous time, I got a knock even with contactless delivery and expected the same. After wondering what was taking so long, I looked outside my door and saw the cold, sad-looking bag of food. Making matters worse, I ordered two meals -- both with Dr. Pepper. I only received one drink, though, and it was a Coke. I called the store and got an answering machine. Instead of being able to leave a message, I received a text message with another number I could use to text the store. I tried that and got no reply. About an hour later, I attempted to leave a complaint via the app, but on the last page it wouldn't let me pick the store I visited. So I texted the first number back again and did receive a response from an employee this time. I explained the situation and he/she seemed concerned and promised a manager would be in touch to rectify the situation. That was a week ago and still haven't heard anything. I filled out a review that came with my receipt and also expressed my complaint. Also no reply. Out of $40 worth of food, we managed to salvage two sandwiches that were OK -- everything else was either inedible or completely missing. If anyone along the way had actually offered ANYTHING, I wouldn't be taking my time to leave this review. As it stands, though, I just want to make sure others think twice before ordering delivery from...
