We try to choose new places to have happy hour with a group of 12-14 friends on Fridays. After our experience at this Twin Peaks location in Deer Valley, Phoenix, we will never return again. We didn’t drink as much as we would have and we were certainly not happy with the happy hour choices. With the help from the lovely hostess, we chose to sit at tables located near the small bar in a corner. This enabled us to get up and visit with all of our friends like we usually do at other places for happy hour. 12 of us showed for Twin Peaks. ALEX, who I learned later was really a manager, was absolutely horrific. The tables we were seated at by the hostess were 3 chair tables. Ridiculous because you can literally fit 5 if needed. We chose 3 tables and took 4 chairs to accommodate our party. ALEX came by deciding the 4 chairs we needed were against company policy and literally FOUGHT me for the chairs. I gave in and told him to take them. Our party was in shock. It was a disgrace. I walked over to the hostess to ask for his name and explain what had happened. She told me there are many many many chairs right outside the door and I can have as many chairs as I needed. Please understand there were plenty of chairs to be had yet this, so called, manager, ALEX literally was beyond rude and disrespectful to our group and apparently had a huge problem with me taking 4 chairs to fit 3 tables rather than taking 4 tables with the 3 chairs. We needed our group to enjoy our Happy Hour time together not separate. We all agreed this is absolutely NOT the place to bring a group of friends to and we will never return to this place again. I do not recommend this Twin Peaks. We all left earlier than we would have at a different establishment. This man, Alex, needs to attend a course in management skills, or he needs to be fired. The waitresses were very sweet and kind. They also didn’t deserve to have tables with...
Read moreOut and about in Phoenix today and decided to get some lunch. I haven’t been in this area in forever and had no idea they had opened this location here. The lot was very busy, but we found a spot up front. We were greeted right away and sat at a booth near the bar. Our server Frankie soon followed and was wonderful. She was attentive, patient, helpful and full of smiles. She gave us some time to look over the menu and to decide on appetizers. The location is large, great bar area with plenty of tv’s visual from every angle. There is inside as well as outside seating which also includes outside bar seating. After going over the menu we opted for the chips and queso with added spicy taco meat for our appetizer. Main courses for the three of us included a cheese steak, chicken fried steak and blackened fish tacos . While our appetizer came out quickly our food took quite a while. The queso was so good. The spice was just enough of a kick and the chips warm and fresh. Frankie checked on us a few times as we waited to refill drinks etc. when our food came out it all looked delicious and was plated well. I substituted the hood that came with my tacos with rice pilaf. I loved the fish tacos. The flavor was good and the jalapeño honey vinaigrette, pineapples, pico, cilantro, avocado smash and sour cream all paired so well together. The rice however I was not a fan of. While it was light and airy it didn’t have as much flavor as I’d of liked. To each their own though of course. Thoughts on the cheesesteak and fries were great and while the chicken fried steak had good flavor and was ok my son said it was a little chewy. He loved the mashed potato’s and jalapeño gravy. All in all it was...
Read moreTwin Peaks offers a unique and inviting atmosphere with its cabin log feeling as soon as you walk in. The abundance of TVs displaying various sports ensures that you won't miss a moment of your favorite game. The staff, including the friendly and efficient waitress Trinity from New York, adds to the overall positive experience.
Starting with the appetizers, they are a highlight of the menu. However, the bacon didn't quite meet expectations. To fully enjoy the variety of options, I would recommend trying the sampler to get a taste of everything Twin Peaks has to offer.
My father opted for the Bloody Mary, and he highly recommends it. He also tried the fish-and-chips, which he found to be awesome and would definitely order again.
As for my own choice, the spicy meatball parmesan was simply off the charts. The flavors were perfectly balanced, and the dish was executed flawlessly.
Moving on to dessert, we indulged in the Cinnamon Toast Crunch cheesecake and the Twin Peaks Sunday, specifically the first bite of the cheesecake reminded me of the delightful taste of fried ice cream. The Twin Peaks Sunday was equally amazing, with the combination of hot browning and cold ice cream creating a perfect harmony of flavors.
Overall, Twin Peaks provided a memorable dining experience. Whether you're looking for a place to catch a game or simply enjoy delicious food, this establishment ticks all the boxes. I would definitely consider returning, especially for a game night. With the exceptional service, delectable dishes, and inviting atmosphere, I wholeheartedly give Twin Peaks a well-deserved...
