Salad and Go — Restaurant in Phoenix

What in the world happened to this place?! We've been giving them big business since they opened. Their business model was literally ran on big portions for low/lowering prices, so when exactly did prices double?! Last time we were here a few months ago the salads were $3.34, and now they're $6.79?! I tried asking the lady at the window, and she said it was to off-set the price of steak? We didn't order anything with steak?! Even she was confused by her own explanation because it made no sense. And the portions are noticeably smaller, the salads used to fill up the entire bowl and touch the top of the lid. We used to order 6-8 salads at a time, and granted this is the longest we've not been here (since November and it's now April), but this is insane! It was 5:30pm on a Monday during dinner/rush hour and when I pulled in I thought they had closed since I was the only one there, and now I know why... Yikes, well it was good while it lasted I guess..

UPDATE: So Salad and Go gave us a $10 gc because we left this (honest) review, so we went and used it and bought 2 salads, which we still had to pay $4+ extra, and both of those salads were missing 2 ingredients (avocado and cheese) lol! Can't make this stuff up... Anyway, we were advised the the breakfast burrito's were still $3.34 so we gave them one last and final chance this morning, and the burrito's are now the size of the salsa packet they come with, they're HALF the size they used to be lol! We even ordered extra salsa packets for each one that they charge extra for now because we used to be able to use 2 salsa's per burrito, but as you can see in my attached photo, that isn't necessary anymore. A. Literal. JOKE... Never...

I definitely disappointed 😔. I was SUPER EXCITED to finally have a SALAD AND GO 2 min from my home. I went there tonight and got soggy salad and had to come back and ask for a remake but did not get the best customer service. I really would think for the amount your employees make an hour $15 you would have them trained to have better customer service. Anytime in the drive you feel rushed and at the window it’s not HI How ARE YOU? its more like shove the drinks and bag and bye! I came back and asked for a remake and the manager just stared at me threw the window while the associate was asking if I could get a refund which I never expected but at the same time I had to drive back and if your going to serve salad I would highly suggest looking at quality I have pics of the salad it’s wilted. I’m writing this review so the owners can do evaluate how quality should be first as well as customer service this is not MCDONALDS: I would think your managers would be trained to have better customer skills as well this is not A CLASSROOM THIS BUSINESS IS CUSTOMER SERVICE!! Someone needs to explain to the staff here that it's okay if it takes someone more than 1.5 seconds to grab their bag as you're handing it out the window. Y'all moved very quickly, someone might want about 10 seconds to put their straw in their drinks, you don't have to bark at them "Ma'am" after a whole 2 seconds because I didn't immediately snatched the bag out of your hand at warp speed (this happened to me on thurs may 12 at about 830am, being specific because you can find out who was working at the window at that time, they absolutely need to be spoken with immediately by their supervisor). This is the third time I felt rushed at this location, luckily even though this is one that is very close to where I live, it is not the one I frequent the most. The staff here is especially rude and needs to be completely replaced as far as I'm concerned. Because it's not the only issue I've had with their poor communication skills and bad attitude.
