Samurai Sam's — Restaurant in Phoenix

Today I got a sumo bowl which I do every Saturday as it’s an easy meal to get and I usually get it when I pick up my pup from day camp. Today I was treated very horrible from the staff and according to the guy I was talking to, his manager. I paid 15 dollars for this bowl mind you and what I got was barely any pieces of chicken and not even that much rice, when I called to let them know they basically called me a liar and kept saying “well my manager said they put the right amount of meat and rice in there. Sorry about that” basically, oh well and too bad for you. I wasn’t calling for a refund or even a replacement but I was left fuming because again I paid that much for a plate that I literally can make at home but I choose to go here again because they always treated me well and gave me great service. I’ll never return here again and I’m very disappointed of how I was treated. Try somewhere...

Not a good experience. Used GrubHub to order and received an incorrect order. Called the location to notify them and figure out a solution. My order totaled approximately $50.00 and was 60% wrong. If it was something small I wouldn't complain. Asked for a manager. " Kat" the employee on the phone tells me there is no manager. I would think that must be a clue as to why my order was wrong. She states I can come to their location for a revised order. If I wanted to drive to their location I wouldn't have ordered delivery. At this point, after dead-ending any other delivery solution, I asked for the owner information which of course wasn't available. Strong suggestion to owner and absent management of Samurai Sams....one lost customer. Many other options available with management on site to oversee orders. I've been regularly visiting this Samurai Sams for years and it always ran well but ive noticed a change in the quality and customer service. Today was the last straw when I ordered a bowl online and deselected all veggies except broccoli, when I showed up to pick up some guy came out of the kitchen and told me it was an additional 75 cents to add broccli.....to a bowl that already came with it. Long time Arizona brand I sadly wont be visiting again. Update, gave it another shot after a response from the owner. Placed the same order and didn't get charged for substitution but it was because they didn't remove the rest of the veggies. So you can pay extra for something that comes with it or you can get it the way it's made. Apparently...
