Streets of New York — Restaurant in Phoenix

My wife and I visited your restaurant on Sunday, December 30th, 2018. We called in a to go order for a couple subs and a pizza. After just flying back from Alabama, our plan was to take these goodies to our home in Pine AZ and eat them later....or maybe eat the subs on the way. By the time we arrived to pick up our order, I decided I’d rather eat the the subs there before our 2 hour drive. When we walked in, we were greeted by a nice young man named Joel. We had only called in the order about 5 minutes before arriving, so of course it was not ready. Joel offered us something to drink while we waited and we both asked for water and offered to pay for it. He said water was free and asked us to sit while we waited. He was so friendly and a great conversationalist. We told him we had decided to eat the subs there and he treated us like we had made reservations at a 5 star restaurant. He thought of everything, knowing that we had a bit of a journey ahead of us. I am sorry I took so long to write this review, but I think it speaks volumes of how impressed I was with Joel that I actually put on my to do list...which is the only way I remember to do things:) A positive attitude and kindness changes everything,...

Apparently another casualty of COVID. Used to love this place but not the place to go for quality food anymore. Few weeks back got an order where two of the items were made incorrectly. Brushed it off as one of those things. Just ordered today $80 worth of pizza and was told it would be there in 40 minutes. An hour and a half, and three phone calls later the pizza still hadnt shown up. For 40 minutes I kept being told he's on his way; there place is an 11 minute drive away. I finally gave up and went to go get food for the family, since going here was my idea. shortly after I left, the delivery guys shows up. The pizza was dried out and Luke warm. Clearly had been in a warming bag for sometime. So I paid $80 plus a $10 tip for bad pizza. I wouldn't complain for Pizza Hut because of their prices. But at these prices this was an unacceptable experience. So final thought, time to move over to Mellow Mushroom or JoJos, so disappointed!

Love the place, the food is always fresh and the people are always very nice. I will admit it's a bit pricey on some of the items. But if you want to know that you will be getting a good meal, sometimes it's worth paying a few dollars more to go home satisfied rather than...

I will start by saying we LOVE the food at streets. The best of everything sandwich is to die for, the cheesy passion bread is amazing, and the Italian dressing is amazing too.

I am writing this review mostly in regards to the service at this particular location that we received tonight. Before tonight we have never had any issues with this particular location. I have ordered online countless times, directly from their website, all without issues. Tonight was a different issue. I ordered and got a delivery estimate about an hour out. That hour passed and no updates. I waited a bit because I know things across all industries are tough right now. When I called it seemed like nobody really cared. After calling back after getting disconnected, I was told a server was being sent to deliver our food.

The server that delivered our food was nice and apologetic. However the order was wrong. My daughter's food came right which is the most important, but I ordered a best of everything with fries, and was delivered a meatball sub with chips. Extra sides of dressing we ordered and paid for also not included.
