A Birthday Party to Remember, Thanks to Tabala!

I'm thrilled to share my fantastic experience with Tabala, who catered to my daughter's birthday party with exceptional food, service, and attention to detail. From the initial meeting to the day of the function, the team at Tabala went above and beyond to make our event a success.

The culinary delights they offered were truly impressive, with a diverse range of dishes that catered to various tastes and dietary preferences. The Rasam Patti was a particular hit, with its rich, tangy flavor that left everyone wanting more. Other standout dishes included the Beetroot Tikki, Tacos, and Veg Wrap, all of which were expertly prepared and presented.

What made our experience even more special was the warm welcome we received from the team. They not only offered us samples of their dishes but also took the time to explain the ingredients, preparation methods, and the story behind each creation. The prices quoted by Tabala were very reasonable, and the quality of the food was exceptional. The value for money was outstanding, and we felt confident that we were getting a great deal.

Visited Tabla on the 17th of May, 2025. Decided to get take-out dinner

First impression upon walking in, was the friendliness of the lady who took our order. Smiling and courteous.

My better half wanted Aloo Chaat, however was disappointed at the unavailability of it, as she was looking forward to a chaat dinner.

We order aloo tikli and onion Samosas: The aloo tikki (4 pieces) was crispy and perfectly done. The taste was a little bland, could have used more spices. But still was tasty. Will give it 4/5.

The onion Samosas (6 pieces) were very good, and once again perfectly done. It tasted very good, but the onions could have been caramelized a bit more to add sweetness. Again, a very tasty appetizer. Will give this also 4/5

Vijayawada Chicken Biryani hit the spot. We got it as medium spicy, and the taste was wonderful. The rice cooked to perfection the layered chicken was soft, well cooked and absolutely delightful. This is a 5/5!

The accompanying raita and biryani sauce were very good as well.

Chettinad Chicken was excellent as well. The chicken again cooked very well with an explosion of wonderful spices. The balance between the spices was perfect. Another 5/5

Garlic naan was nothing to write home about. It was same as one gets another restaurant. It was well cooked, soft and good. Could have been more fluffy. Will give this a 4/5.

The quantity of food was more than enough, with left overs for the next day.

Ambiance was good. More like what you see at restaurants like IHOP, etc. Blue Vinyl covered booth benches and long tables. The place had quite a few customers and they seemed to be enjoying their meals.

The food was ready in about 15 minutes, as promised.

Overall had a wonderful experience, and will definitely go back

We recently celebrated our child’s 1st birthday with catering from Tabla, and it turned out to be one of the best decisions we made!

Originally, we had planned to order just a couple of biryanis, but during our initial discussion we discovered how much more the team could offer. Venkat was incredibly patient and friendly, walking us through the menu in detail, while Chef Thilak complemented the process with his expertise.

The birthday cake (Lion King theme) was an absolute showstopper—not only beautifully done but also delicious. The surprise addition of cupcakes was such a sweet bonus! And the Mint Ginger Shikanji was a perfect refreshing drink for thirsty guests.

The appetizers were outstanding—we loved the mix of trendy yet healthy options like beetroot cheese tikki, Resempatti gobi, coastal fish fry, and shrimp croquettes. Of course, no celebration is complete without biryani, and their combos were truly top notch.

The highlight for many of our guests was the dessert spread—halwa shells, Indian tiramisu, fruit panna cotta, and double ka meetha. Each item had fantastic presentation, variety, and taste. Everyone went home raving about it!

What impressed us the most was their catering service. We didn’t have to worry about a single detail—food arrangements, warming, refills, even the cake cutting—everything was handled seamlessly by the team. So well-organized and completely stress-free.
