I recently visited Teriyaki Madness with high hopes and a craving for some delicious Japanese-inspired cuisine. Unfortunately, my experience at this establishment left much to be desired, and I cannot help but feel disappointed with the overall quality of the food and service.

First and foremost, the ambiance was underwhelming. The restaurant felt cramped and poorly lit, making it quite an uncomfortable setting to enjoy a meal. The tables were too close together, and it was challenging to have a private conversation without feeling like the neighboring diners were eavesdropping.

Now, onto the food. I ordered the classic chicken teriyaki bowl, which is supposed to be their signature dish. However, the portion size was shockingly small, and the chicken pieces were overcooked and dry. The teriyaki sauce lacked the authentic depth of flavor I was expecting, leaving me with a bland and uninspiring taste.

Additionally, the supposed variety in their menu was disappointing. It felt like the same basic teriyaki sauce was used across all dishes, resulting in a lack of diversity in flavors. I was hoping for more options and unique combinations to tantalize my taste buds, but instead, I was met with mediocrity.

To make matters worse, the service was lackluster at best. The staff seemed disinterested and unenthusiastic about their work. My order took an eternity to arrive, and when it finally did, it was clear that the kitchen staff had rushed the preparation, as the presentation was messy and unappealing.

Furthermore, the pricing was unjustified given the subpar quality of the food. I expected to pay a premium for a meal at a restaurant named "Teriyaki Madness," but the cost did not align with the lackluster experience and disappointing portions. Lastly, the cleanliness of the restaurant left much to be desired. The dining area and restroom were not well-maintained, and this lack of attention to hygiene detracted from the overall dining experience.

In conclusion, my visit to Teriyaki Madness was far from satisfactory. The lack of quality in both food and service, coupled with the uninviting ambiance, has left a lasting negative impression. I would not recommend this establishment to anyone seeking an authentic and enjoyable teriyaki experience. Instead, I suggest exploring other Japanese restaurants in the area for a more fulfilling...

I wish I could put zero stars. I should have turned around and left the minute I walked in. I walk up to place an order and the guy just deadpans the whole time. I wasn’t greeted or anything. He just stood there and looked at me with no emotion, saying nothing. I placed my order and as I’m paying he just leaves to the back without a word. The iPad was friendlier than him!!! I waited for 25-30 minutes listening to music that was blasting from the speakers and hearing them yelling and cussing in the back! I understand the kitchen can be loud but I think the loud music contributed to them having to yell because they couldn’t hear anything. Pro-Tip: If you’re yelling that loud then maybe don’t drop the f-bomb because everything said can be heard perfectly in the dining area. So I deal with all of that just to get the wrong order and to have food that was greasy and looked old. My orange chicken was beyond dry and lacked flavour. The yakisoba noodles were missing the vegetables and were dry as well. The meat for the teriyaki bowl was not cut through. The first time I ate here was ok, customer service was lacking but it was not like eating at a club with the music blaring and the food was great. This time, customer service and food quality were nonexistent and I’m pretty sure the guy who took my order is too far gone to receive the proper training on how to interact with customers. Maybe have him cook in the back and the girl can work the front counter? She was the friendliest member of them all.

I won’t be back here, even though it does not matter much to the establishment. The location on Bell rd near Arrowhead is far better than this one. Ya live and ya...

As for the food, Teriyaki Madness certainly lives up to its name. The teriyaki dishes were cooked to perfection, bursting with flavor and freshness. Each bite was a delightful fusion of savory and sweet, leaving me craving more.

Craving teriyaki? Teriyaki madness is a must if you want to satisfy that crave. Alright, the service was great. Coming in, the young lady was attentive, greeted me, and was pleased to take the order. Came in starving looked at the online menu, so I came ready to order. Went with the spicy chicken with noodles and veggies on the side. I also got the mad spicy steak with brown rice with veggies on the side. wait, time was decent. Went home, opened up the food, everything looked and smelled great. Chicken was not spicy but had good flavor. Noodles could use some pepper they were the most plain or of everything. Veggies were well steamed. The steak bowl would have given it 5 stars, but charging extra for mad spicy and barely having any on the steak is disappointing. Brown rice went well with steak, I added some Sriracha and teriyaki sauce, and you got some fuego. Small details that miss that perfect rating, but overall, great food at decent pricing would be back and would definitely recommend! 😋

They ran out of chicken, salmon, white rice and said it was because the shipment didn’t come. Shouldn’t have been open if you can’t serve your customers the food they want. The gentleman working the front was patient and kind. The kitchen was absolutely disgusting seeing it from the front of the dining area. The steak was soggy and didn’t taste like steak at all. I had to throw it out because I literally wanted to throw up. I would never recommend this place to anybody. My ragoons were hard as rocks! Sweet kids just no experience with cooking in there. They gave me two free bowls but I honestly will never eat there again. Absolutely horrific first experience!

I happened to be in the area and saw the Teriyaki Madness logo and thought I’d give it a try. I’m so glad I spotted this little gem! The food is delicious and I love that there are multiple sauces on each table to really make the food your own. I got the chicken teriyaki with white rice and veggies the food was absolutely delicious with a very small wait to get it to the table. Owen, one of the managers rang up my order and brought it out as well as made sure I was taken care of the entire time I was there. The inside of the business is also super clean and had multiple screens to watch while enjoying a nice lunch. I’ll definitely be back!
