(Edited as the owner has now replied and dismissed my concerns. This is my real honest experience at this shop. Go and look at some of the other one-star reviews and take a look at how this man talks to people. I think thatās telling enough. You will find Iām not the only one who had gross coffee and unfriendly service. )
Me and my partner came in one morning to get some coffee. I asked for a cup of water, and they told me it would be 1 dollar. In all my years of living in Arizona, I have never experienced this! It shows such a level of greed and lack of compassion for your paying patrons.
I then find out this business has registered on a platform called "public square", which is a radical Christian, far right commerce platform, essentially signaling to consumers that they support "anti-woke", "pro-conservative" values. I mean, I could have guessed, seeing as the most diversity they have on staff is a brunette, but it makes so much sense now why this will never be a comfortable hang-out spot or community space in any way shape or form. I didnāt feel welcomed at all, and I wonder if in hindsight it was because I came in holding hands with my queer partner.
The cherry on top of it all was (and I'm being dead honest) this was some of the worst coffee l've ever had.
All of this to say, if you love terrible coffee, being nickeled and dimed, and an oppressive, 1930's Germany vibe, this is your place!
I highly recommend some other coffee shops in the area, like Where U Bean, Jarrodās, Brick Road, Jasmine Jo, Xtreme Bean, Bean Chain (an employee owned business!). Anywhere...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreLocal coffee bar and coffee shop with seating for 20. Seating option for outside as well. They have loyalty punch cards that allow you to earn a free drink. Free Wi-Fi. They offer americano coffee, lattes, specialty coffee, cappuccinos, macchiatos, frappes, and cold brews. My favorite if you enjoy peach flavor is their carbonated white peach tea. Extremely refreshing. They also offer a light selection of pastries and a few sandwiches all made fresh daily. For a breakfast option they offer a chorizo, egg, and waffle sandwich that is quite unique. The maple syrup against the chorizo actually works. They have a gender neutral restroom in the back. They have an activity room that is 500 square feet or around 18ā x 24ā. Oddly, on a few visits there has been a mom group catching up over coffees out front and the kids were entertaining themselves in the open room.
There is a large flatscreen on the wall that is running ESPN to catch up on the latest highlights.
Staff is always friendly. The music is high energy and upbeat played at the right volume.
This is a great spot to come and hang out while enjoying an affordable drink over some friendly...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI just moved into the ray area and I found this little coffee shop, at first I would just grab and go which was cool but Iāve been wanting to just relax and chill this is a good space for that if you come on non busy days, but as far as the staff I donāt know how to feel? It feels like Iām like annoying when I talk to them, I donāt think Iāll come by anymore, itās like really stuck up vibes kind of? This place has a lot of potential but seems like they really serve certain types of people, because those are the people that they make feel comfortable Iāve noticedā¦. I had a sandwich .. about $8 bucks and I tip, it was just super hard I donāt know if it was frozen still or if it was just over cooked but I told the staff they didnāt offer my a replacement or anything she just threw it away, no apology or anything, I come here maybe three time a week⦠at this point I wonāt be back! The drinks are nice though I wish they had better options on door dash so I wouldnāt have...
