Our first visit to this location. When we approached the counter, we were not greeted with any type of acknowledgement or pleasantly. There were no other customers at the counter. In fact, there were only 4 other customers in the building, very slow for a Sunday morning business. While asking questions about the baked goods, another customer came in and started having a conversation over the top of our inquiries with the counter sales person. I found this to be rude of BOTH the other customer AND the sales associate. He (the other customer) was loudly commenting about the fact that he was disappointed that his "favorite" item wasn't in stock. He and the counter person who was waiting on us, both rudley carried on a full conversation about HIS favorite items and what he thought was the best, bla, bla, bla! Perhaps this is a training opportunity to educate your staff to pay attention to the current customer that entered the building FIRST and had questions about the products rather than rudely engaging in a conversation with another customer behind them. Won't be surprised when this business fails like all those ahead of this location. I guess it's hard to teach manners to generation where "everyone gets a trophy" or by merely showing up to work meets the job description of "CUSTOMER service"! We...
Read moreThe Kolache Cafe is such a bright, welcoming spot! The staff was incredibly kind and greeted me as soon as I walked in. There were so many options to choose from, and I really appreciated the vegetarian selections.
I took my order to go and tried the egg, spinach, and cheese kolache, along with the biscuits and gravy kolache. While they accidentally gave me two biscuits and gravy ones instead of the jalapeño sausage I ordered, I was not disappointed—these kolaches taste way better than they look! They’re small but packed with flavor and super filling. I was full after just two!
For dessert, I got the key lime cheesecake and peach cheesecake kolaches. They were tasty but a bit too doughy for my preference—I’d love to see a sweet kolache with the same filling-to-dough ratio as the savory ones. I also grabbed a coffee, but unfortunately, it was cold and not to my liking.
One thing to note is that after taxes, each kolache came out to nearly $4. While they are delicious, I do think they are a bit overpriced for the size. Despite the minor mix-ups and pricing, I’ll definitely be back! The quality of the kolaches and the friendly atmosphere make this place...
Read moreI have to give this place five stars. The energy here is something special—it’s calm, kind, and you can tell the people working here genuinely want to make others feel welcome. There’s a happiness and compassion in the air the moment you walk in, and that’s not something you find in most places.
And the Kolaches? Every single one I’ve tried has been amazing. I usually grab a cinnamon roll in the morning, and it never fails to make my day better. Everything is fresh, delicious, and clearly made with care.
I also have to mention Baylee (forgive me if I spell it wrong)—she makes the experience even more amazing. The service, kindness, and warmth she brings every day are rare and special, and it really makes a difference.
I know there are some low reviews out there, but honestly, that feels more like Karens being Karens than anything real. This café is nothing short of amazing, and I’m grateful it’s here.
Just a note for management (and those Karens): if the name on the review isn’t a real name, or they cannot spell correctly, don’t take it seriously. Idiots will try to cause chaos wherever they can. Stay up,...
