Salad and Go — Restaurant in Phoenix

Unfortunate update July-August 2023- quite the pattern forming where they forget items, they forget salsas, they include ingredients you took off. They incorrectly make a salad and then argue with you about it. "Extra" of anything (paid for, mind you) means nothing. When they get it right it's great, but the ratio of good:bad has unfortunately gone from 3:1 to 1:3. Not much of a value when you're going home to add things to the salad or breakfast burrito, or awkwardly double checking everything in your car.

UPDATE June 2023- This location is still excellent. I'm in the area a lot for work and definitely choose to go here rather than the one near my home-- not because my location is bad (I love my store), this one is just a step above! There have been some issues with order accuracy as they switch over to a new platform, but they always make it right. For $6/salad, you need to remember grace and accept that mistakes happen. The fact that they ALWAYS fix it without issue says a lot.

Very friendly service. Ordered online and arrived early, and only had to wait maybe 2 minutes. Delicious and great prices. Literally walked out of Sprouts because of salad prices and a weak selection, and drove across the street after placing my order in their parking lot. Glad I finally tried...

It's rare that I need to edit my reviews. However, the last few orders have either been screwed up, or poor quality. For example, our salads last night, the greens were very wilted and half the cherry tomatoes were very soggy, way past their prime. We wound up throwing half our salads in the trash. Also, my wife had to wait about 15 minutes, despite the fact that she ordered the salads using the app, well ahead of arriving at your Ray Road facility. This is an overall significant drop from the original 5-star performance previously experienced. The decline has been a slow consistent drop. Please fix these things as we have enjoyed your salads and previous service.

Great fast salads at a good price. They botched our order once, but made good on it on our next trip. The service is courteous; ingredient fresh, and the dressings quite tasty. My favorite is the Cobb salad and is one of the few salads from any restaurant that actually fills me up. One nice thing is that they happily customize your salad for a very modest price. I love Salad & Go as a whole, and I have yet to have anything I didn't like taste-wise, but this location is really bad with missing items and inconsistent wrap prep. I come here usually 1-3 times a week, and over the last few weeks alone: They forgot the salsa for my breakfast bowl/burrito even though they ask if I want red or green, they tell me all wraps come with dressing on the side but the last 4 wraps I've gotten all had dressing inside, I ask for dressing on the side for a wrap and just don't receive it, etc. Once or twice isn't a big deal to me, but it's a consistent weekly problem here.

Again, never a problem with the food itself, just all the stuff surrounding it. Always check your order before pulling away!

P.S. I lied. Their seasonal pot pie soup used to be so good years ago whenever they previously had it, but this season they cut down on the ingredients, thickness, taste, and portion sizes of the soups. It's now bland, watery gruel. I hope the next season's shows some improvement, but if not, Kneader's is nearby for anyone hankering a decent...
