I was really craving oxtail and I decided to use Uber Eats to find some delicious oxtail. It suggested this place for me so I placed my order and it just arrived. The order looks absolutely beautiful and you can tell that the food is freshly made and that they use quality ingredients. Unfortunately though my oxtail tastes horrible. It has no flavor and it is just extremely salty. Also the rice and peas is completely Bland as well. None of this tastes like Jamaican-style oxtail and the rice and peas does not taste like Jamaican-style either. I always order oxtail and I've tried different places in the valley, and all over the country, And yes some places make it better than others but at least always has the flavor profile that I'm looking for but this is completely lacking it. I would not recommend ordering oxtail from this restaurant. They potentially have other dishes that are delicious although I have not tried anything else as this was my first order I placed. Again the food arrived beautifully, fresh-looking, and vibrant but the flavor is not there for the oxtail. I just threw my $26.00 down the drain because I can't even eat this. I'm literally ordering oxtail from a different place that I've had before and I'm regretting using my free delivery promo to try something new like I did today. I should have just stuck with...

Firstly Gayle is an absolute sweetheart and her husband Curtis is extremely polite and pleasant and puck is killing it in the kitchen and happy to take a minute to talk to you about how he cooks and prepares his recipes and is also very polite and kind. I stopped by for some take out and was pleasantly surprised when I walked in because the restaurant is beautiful and spotless and everyone that works there is pleasant and polite.

The next time I eat here I'll definitely be trying the dining in. That being said I had an order of jerk wings, an order of ox tail stew and a few chicken curry patties. The wings were INCREDIBLE super meaty the seasoning was perfect and they disappeared quickly. The chicken curry patties were amazing with just the perfect amount of spice and flavor. That brings me to the ox tail stew.......... 🤯 The rice was SO.... tender, moist and flavorful and the ox tail was insane. I will DEFINITELY be going back.

If you are in the mood for authentic Jamaican food in a very relaxed and attractive setting served by people that take pride in what the serve and are just truly genuinely good, nice people you will not be disappointed here.

Glad they decided to to open up shop in this neighborhood and I'm looking forward to going back again and again. Five stars across the board and two big...

Definitely worth a trip.

Ordered curry chicken, jerk chicken and bammys. The jerk chicken was absolutely amazing and I would have happily ordered a quart of that hot sauce on the side if they offered it, ha. I have no idea what that sauce was, but it was so good. The chicken in the curry was just a bit dry and not a lot of sauce, but still quite good. Probably wouldn't order that one again, but definitely not a curry style I've had before and I'm glad I tried it. The slaw was absolutely amazing as well. Got basmati rice with one order and coconut milk rice with the other; my fiancee who doesn't like coconut nor red beans even liked the coconut rice. That mixed with the slaw was seriously one of the best things I've ate considering how simple it is. I didn't care for the bammys, but was definitely a unique side. Could see it being good dipped into one of the saucier dishes but it just didn't work with the curry and it's lack of sauce.

Overall, it was a relatively cheap, quite good and somewhat healthy meal that I didn't feel guilty about. Plus it was ready in 10 mins after ordering. Makes it for sure somewhere we'll come back to.

Besides jerk chicken, I'd never had Jamaican food and I'd say this was a fantastic...

I usually buy the oxtail and decided to try the rasta pasta. I don't know who is back there currently cooking it must be a new chef because the oxtails are terrible today it taste soooo bad and i'm not a nit picky person i spent $60 today and i support this restaurant a lot! Today 06/15 the food is bad and this is NOT rasta pasta what is this? why are minced up shrimp on here and why are there beans and mixed vegetables in the rasta pasta? ?? also idk if yall ran out of broad beans for the oxtail but why the hell are red beans in oxtail ???? $60 down the drain i feel some type a way cuz it's in the trash and im so hungry too! sigh This ain't it yall have to rectify this ASAP it just don't taste like a jamaican cooked it whatsoever this is giving yall ran out of manyyyy ingredients THAT IS UNACCEPTABLE. Rasta pasta is sooo simple .. and i can't believe what i received TIN MIXED VEGETABLES in rasta pasta and it gives it such a terrible taste ..

The food was excellent and the service was great. BUT when i tell you this was the CLEANEST restaurant i have been too in phoenix im not even exaggerating. I really hate a dirty restaurant as someone who has worked in the industry on and off for years... i look close also, down to the bathroom trashcan, it was clean! Ok back to the food... I had already decided that it wasn't going to come to a Jamaican restaurant for the first time and order chicken or beef... So I had goat curry And my husband had the oxtail. They were both Phenomenal, and honestly the goat was quite mild in taste, the sauce was harty and packed with flavor on both meals. The drinks were so tasty... the hibiscus margarita!!! Literally the best margarita ever. My husband had the rum punch which was also very good.... If you are thinking about it and in the mood... don't hesitate just go!!!

Superb and unique. First time but will definitely go back to this hidden gym. Ordered the jerk chicken and the ackee and salt fish. Did not know what ackee was before. The ackee and salt fish were an assortment of complimentary flavors that worked perfectly. Every bite was enjoyable. Came with jasmine rice and coleslaw that were both very good and meshed well with the dish. The jerk chicken was well portioned with three good sized pieces. The flavor profile was phenomenal including beyond the skin. The jerk chicken was accompanied by basmati rice and cabbage, both of which were excellent. It was obvious that a lot of skill and care went into the creation of both dishes. The employee was friendly and provided helpful explanations. My only negative is the lack of table side service. I will definitely go back. I do have one suggestion.
