I went there with some friends for some pizza. We had two friends who have a newborn show up with their kid and sat down at our table. Keep in mind, they were never stopped at the door by the hostess when walking in saying kids are not allowed in the area. We also were not at the upper bar area, we were at a standard table where a normal group or family would sit. We then had the owner, Steve, come up to our table and say kids are not allowed and that we have to leave. We politely asked why and he immediately and rudely yelled "house rules" and walked away. So if you are looking for a nice restaurant to eat with your family and kids, I do not recommend this place as you are likely to be rudely kicked out. Steve, if you read this, when approaching paying customers it is a best practice to nicely state that it is your policy to not allow kids in the area and to ask if we can please move somewhere else or politely ask to leave. I recommend researching customer service practices or just having someone else who has customer service skills to do your job for you.
Response to Steve: I appreciate you following up with me on this. To be clear, your server did not let us know twice that infants are not allowed, she mentioned it once in a somewhat a joking manner. It was interpreted as a joke and we asked for clarification which she then simply walked away and then we never saw her again, keep in mind this is our server. Then around 15 minutes later, you came up to our table and very rudely brought it up again and kicked our friends out. I am all for rules and regulations, but the manner that this was handled in was completely...
Read moreUpper crust- oh how you uppercut my faith in you. Picture this (based on my true experience): My friends and I walk in and want to be seated with the rest of our guests who are already there. Unfortunately they hired a 12 year old to stand at the front and say we canât be seated because they are making room for a party (the same guests)- no smile, no hello, no nothing, just a face of âwhy are you hereâ. STRIKE ONE
We told him we will do it ourselves, and proceed to walk past him so he doesnât die from any more confusion as to how life works.
We then wait for some people to pass and catch the eye of one of the servers. As a courteous gesture, I smiled and said hello. She disappointingly did not smile back, looked at me snobbish, and definitely did not say hello. STRIKE TWO
When we finally got to our table, we waited for our server. SHE SMILED- I told her âThank you for actually smiling while you work.â After looking over the prices- we were discouraged. Just looking at the menu costs extra. It costs extra for EVERYTHING- only cheese pizza, or each topping is $3 (same for the calzone), only one given sauce for your wings, or itâs extra, lemon in your water must be extra as well. I say that because we asked for water with lemon, and that couldnât be done. STRIKE THREE
I understand quality, but I am not going to be ripped off for you using the same hot sauce as wing stop, and then charging extra for using the same pineapples on a pizza that papa johns uses. Yes it was good, but between the service and price shock, I donât mind finding...
Read moreI went over last night, their website said they close at 11pm on Saturdayâs so we arrived a little after 7:30pm ( by the way we called earlier to confirm) when we arrived our host was a teenager boy younger than 18 who had zero customer service skills and helped us like if he was giving us a favor⌠he told my husband we couldnât dine in Because they were closing but they had two there families who had just ordered before us and were still waiting on their food to be served. So I ask why we couldnât dine in and he said they were closing earlier since it was dead . Then I sat to wait for our pizza and two more people arrived for pick ups ⌠apparently they were still open not just for their customers waiting but also for online pick up so it made me really upset and I ask to speak with the manager but instead I received another teen girl who look about 18 the oldest at claiming she was the manager ⌠I was there before for online pick ups and judging their laughter after we spoke in the back I know she wasnât. She told me the place was closing at 10 for the kitchen and that we could stay if desired but without servers but after feeling rejected I certainly did not wanted to stay . I wish our pizza was better than my review but it was over cook the sides were over burned and it was cold ⌠their pasta was ok but not much better than a fast food one. For almost 50 dollars for a large pizza and a side of small pasta this was a horrible...
