Wilds Salon 24 — Local services in Phoenix

Came here on May 4th at 10 am looking to get a simple bridal look for my mom because her wedding was taking place later that afternoon at 3:30 pm. Her hair stylist was Rob and he kept saying how he was going to make her hair glamorous. Sadly he did not. My mom wanted a simple half up half down bridal look with a braid that went back into the ponytail and even provided him with a picture of exactly what she wanted. Rob rushed on my moms hair and I could tell he was hurting her but my mom is too nice to ever say anything. My moms curls weren’t made to look like natural curls and my mom had to point out a chunk of hair he didn’t curl. Also, the braid wasn’t even a braid, it was a knot. And it was held down with a lot of Bobby pins. I guess he tried to correct his work. He kept asking if I liked it and I said yes even though I didn’t. It wasn’t about me it was about my mom. When she paid and we left, she expressed to me she didn’t like it but didn’t want to cause a problem because we had already wasted 1 hour. When we got home we had to fix all that Rob had done. I recently visited this salon and got my hair done by Anetta (I think her last name was Baker Dupont) I showed up for my appointment early by about 15 mins and wound up having to wait over 35 mins for her to even show up for her shift. When she got there she walked in with this entitled energy about her, dilly dallied for a few mins and finally called me back to her station. She didn’t seem at all attentive to what I was asking her to do and talked to her coworkers, which came off more as bragging about her recent vacation the whole time she was doing my hair. Frankly she was rude and cared more about her social life than taking care of me as her client. When she was finished I looked at my hair and it was nothing like what I requested. On top of that she charged me double than what anybody else ever has. I will never go back to her nor would I recommmend her to anybody. What a terrible person. If this salon wants to stay in business they need to hire...

Holly—

I have been going to Holly or about 5 years now. I did live up in the north side now I live about an hour down south and I will always make the drive. Holly has always done such a beautiful job! From the cuts color and style! She’s taken me from my natural hair to blonde to keeping my go to dark. She’s taken care of my hair and me as a client. She always has me check either inside and it side light. Holly is the sweetest, most professional and kindest lady. She will give her honest feedback back on if something is or isn’t possible to do. Which I love, I have had passed stylest ruin my hair/ give me something I didn’t want just to tell me after they knew it wasn’t possible. My mom has gone To Holly and she has loved her work.
