Wendy's — Restaurant in Phoenix

⚠️ WARNING ⚠️ Dangerous place Went with a friend. He asked to use the bathroom after order and I was near him. A staff member unlocked the men's restroom door which was unoccupied and a lunatic gal started screaming. This young pregnant female employee came out of the men's room in a rampage and hollered at my friend relentlessly. I used the bathroom then and when I came out this pregnant employee was still screaming at the top of her lungs and the manager joined her in the lobby screaming too. A young guy came out from the kitchen prep area and started in. The situation was very threatening and friend was told to leave, no offer of money back. I stayed and got his order but we later decided to throw them away as the screaming pregnant gal and manager went back to the kitchen and our order took a long time so we feared our meals were sabotaged. I kept my phone in my hand ready to call 911 as these employees were all screaming at him and for some reason screamed at me too. At some point that young male said something about video talking and then the pregnant out of control berserk employees screamed again that my friend was video taping took her on the men's bathroom. He never entered the bathroom and didn't even have phone in hand. A few customers rolled eyes at this almost riot and one left. The employees need at minimum coached and anger management or something terrible could happen at this place. Adding this after seeing other reviews, it seems like I wasn't the only person that felt discriminated and disrespected here. Coincidence? If there is a video of this event on Sunday afternoon corporate should watch it. I posted a review an hour or so after this event, mysteriously the review is no longer visible. It's terrible to be screamed at repeatedly by a group of employees who had no reason to scream, to leave their kitchen or to demand an innocent person go outside the place without their meal If a out of control pregnant female is going to use the men's room maybe she should turn the occupied button and not be so aggressive about her own failure to do so. If someone is asked to leave without their meal they should be given a refund. If these same people feel eating such meals because the hostile employees went back to make them, a refund should be order. Very disappointing to be ina situation of such extreme rage and out of control hostility. We highly recommend people avoid this place and they corporate get involved ASAP ⚠️ Warning ⚠️

Addendum: Friend that was the victim called corporate Monday after the event. Talked to them in detail. No one bothered to even call him back. Corporate cares? Nope, not...

I really love to go to the Wendy's Restaurant. The Girl's all know me, and what I want. They are Friendly, show Courtesy, and make sure the Order is right on. Place is Clean, Other Customers show Courtesy to other's. Even the Homeless stop by and Order meals. No problems. The only problem I see, is that now, sometimes the Dining Room will be Closed during operating hours. This Is due to the Employee Shortages. A lot of other Wendy's Restaurant's are the same, sad way. Perhaps this is due to the Pandemic rage that is going on. The Drive thru is always open during Business Hours, and can extend to 1:00 in the Morning. Ok, the Girl's are Fantastical. Ask for: Janice, Marcelia, & Ken is great on holding the shift. They are giving a real feel of/ Customer Service that you don't find Anywhere. Get your Free: "key chain" "Frosty " (chocolate/vanilla). Prices Are very low: the four for four, $4.34, W/tax, Many Sandwich specials, and more.

Edit: 6/15/22: Well now, (the Burger "Wendy's" joint) is under/ new management. As far as we can see, Ms. Manager, who is also a District manager, works & seem's to be doing a really fantastic, good job. The Food is great, service is swell (w/ new help), The drive- thru always busy. Ms Manager also is dealing with the homeless, as when it was 114° last Sunday, she allowed them in to "hydrate, & allow drinks for "Hydration!. Now how about that, she has feeling's for our out & about people!

Wendy's has new employees at the store on 3rd st. & Indian School Rd., Right across the way, is the Phoenix Carl T. Hayden V/A Hospital Plus a Chevron gas station W/A food court & small groceries offered. It's just a stone's throw from Central Ave., which of course also is the Phoenix Lite Rail System.

Wendy's has good salad's, burger's, value meals (5 for 5 $5) meal deals, children's meal deals, cookies, Frostys, and Free Senior Coffies, which I always have. Delicioso! I find now, to, Mcdonald's French Fríes, they are like a hard shoe lace. Wendy's I believe, uses real good meat oil. Remember the cholesterol wars we had in back in those day's? unsaturated, poly stuff that wasn't good for you?

Please understand I don't work for Wendy's and am just trying to inform those people who have experienced bad service, rudeness, messed up orders or long wait times that currently the evening shift is undergoing a pretty major change and this will hopefully get this location back to being a family friendly restraint that serves fresh good food that you have come to.love from this fast food chain but also be a place where you can bring your family and the children and not have to worry about a cashier being rude pushy or have bad attude. Currently this PM shift has an entire new crew including the manager who is a great person who is trying to take in all her job assignments and help her new crew to also find there place on the line and with this family. Yes some will be either getting reprimanded for actions that are inexcusable in a position where the public is so important and as one other reviwest said the customers pay there wages. And management all the way up this chain know that this location is struggling and has been but they are putting both money and time to get it back up to par. So please bare with this crew and help them out when they make mistakes or get something wrong because they are new and trying to learn the ropes and for the most part they are the e ones that are going to stay and be here for the long hall. So be gentle this really is most o thems first time. Give praise directly when. You can to all of them because heating that they are doing a good job will help them to want to...
