Wendy's — Restaurant in Phoenix

NOT OPEN FOR DINE-IN! DO NOT believe the app nor maps. Do yourself a favor and find another location or another restaurant. For months this location has had the dining room closed with a paper sign in the window. Multiple times I went with the family and we ended up going to McDonald's, Arby's or Subway all nearby and all open.

Today it was listed as an option to pick up for dine-in in their app, so I thought they finally got their stuff together and opened up. I ordered in the app and in the app everything looked normal as if the place were open and I could pick up my order inside. So when I ordered for dine-in on the app, I clicked the button to "make my food" then wait 5 minutes, went to the door a couple minutes early to find out the door is locked. I was in the mobile pickup spots in the lot and figured at least they will just bring out my order, NOPE!!! Then 10 minutes of waiting in the drive thru my food is finally picked up, and likely already cold... then I find no straws in the bag for drinks, no ketchup for fries, no sugar for unsweetened tea. So without waiting another 10 minutes for those items, you have to head home to eat your food. I ate some of my fries on the way home, but the burger and nuggets were cold when I got home and the Frosty was 1/3 melted and was all liquid...

Tonight I rushed to Wendy's to get dinner for my three children and myself. We were starving we ordered so much food that we will be eating chicken nuggets again for dinner tomorrow. But at first I was worried because I normally feel very rushed to place my order at the drive thru and always end up forgetting to order something, well that wasn't the case tonight at all. I was not rushed or made to feel like I was a burden to the girl on the other side of the speaker. I pulled up to the window after j ordered and I was greeted with a silent smile while the girl hat was taking orders continued to place orders while she made all of our drinks and our frostys, she took my payment and was kind enough to make sure I didn't drop my change. These all seem like small things but it's very rare to get this type of service most places. So anyways the last hunk I want to is I appreciate the drink carrier and the extra large bag they put all of our separated meals into, it sure made a bad night into a easier to handle night. Anyways we don't eat out very often but next time we do it will be back at Wendy's. The food was perfect and still hot by the time we got it...

You can put frosting on a piece of crap & it's still going to be a piece of crap. I even said to my husband: maybe since they remodeled, it'll be good now. I was so so wrong. My husband was just in there and ordered cheese fries and a single patty cheeseburger and a kids meal for my daughter. He came home with a double patty (which no big deal) no drink he ordered w the kids meal, and no cheese on the cheese fries. That doesn't even make sense. Don't mess with people's cheese fries. Like, duh. Rude. And the burger patties were pretty black and rubbery so that's also pretty freaking gross. Do you want a several hr old hamburger patty!!!?? The cashier was also too busy helping her family get their food ordered, she was rude to my husband and still got the order wrong. I'm always for giving someone in the food industry the benefit of doubt in these situations, but the employees here are mostly rude and the food is not fresh nor good ever. Also, it wasn't even busy. There was no benefit of the doubt, just gross lazy people who DGAF. I'll never go to...
