Wings and waffles — Restaurant in Phoenix

I recently had the opportunity to visit Wing Kings and tried their shrimp, which was served as a side dish rather than part of a combo with fries sold separately. Let me break it down for you:

First, let's talk about the atmosphere. Wing Kings is a clean and pleasant place to have lunch, especially if you're looking for a quick break from work.

Next, the customer service. I must say, there was only one person working in the front, but they were extremely kind and provided great recommendations on what to order.

Now, onto the food. The presentation of the shrimp was impressive, but unfortunately, the taste didn't live up to the hype. The shrimp itself lacked flavor, while the breading was the only thing that had any taste. In fact, I ended up eating the breading and giving the shrimp to my dog.

As for the fries, they were disappointingly salty. The red seasoning coating on them was overpowering, to the point where I had to throw them away. It seemed like they were coated in a mixture of seasoning and salt, and it was just too much.

Overall, I don't think I'll be returning to Wing Kings anytime soon. It simply doesn't align with my taste preferences. I'm honestly puzzled by their 4.3-star rating. Perhaps it's due to biased reviews from friends and family, because it certainly doesn't reflect...

Came tonight and specifically ordered 10 Nashville and 5 mild and came to the counter twice to confirm with girl working that it was 10 and 5 and she gave me attitude we waited 30 minutes after she said it would be 10-15 minutes once we get home there was only 10 came back and she had a nasty attitude towards us we also called on the phone to talk about before hand no call she kept on saying it was our fault for getting it wrong when I repeated myself 3 times the order of 10 and 5 and was giving attitude nonstop and when we’re waiting she was gossiping to her coworker I was gonna say something but decided not to she also didn’t answer a phone call when it was ringing and had another customers food ready and did not inform him and he was visibly annoyed that they didn’t tell him it was ready we’ve came to wing kings since it open and now considering not coming back since it feels like the customer service has gotten worse and once we got out five wings she put the bag so aggressively on the table it was the Mexican looking girl 4/17 night shift please wing kings managerment please hire better...

Standouts were the spicy lemon pepper (wasn’t spicy but was delicious) and onion rings. We tried bone in and boneless wings - bone in was cooked well, and they were a good size. Husband said boneless were okay, he would try tenders next time. We also tried the Nashville hot sandwich and that was good however the bun got soggy. The suicide sauce was quite hot, which we loved. The mango habanero could use more of a kick and the spicy garlic parmesan was good, very garlic heavy but I didn’t get any heat.
