I have a weakness for their crunchy tacos and I've been a fairly regular drive thru customer for over 2 years. Up until a couple weeks ago, I gave them 5 stars for good quality food and fast, friendly service. But not anymore. I don't know if they're under new management, but its a disaster. The new girl working the drive thru lacks communication skills and is quite rude. Then me and 2 other cars had to park and wait for them to bring out our food to us instead of getting at the window. When my 6 tacos came, they were thin and barely filled (who skimps on lettuce?!), they were poorly wrapped, but worst yet, THE SHELLS WERE BADLY BROKEN ON ALL SIX TACOS!! Everyone knows and accepts that taco shells are easy to crack lengthwise when you're filling them - and thats totally fine, I expect that. But these tacos looked like they'd been run over by a tank, one was utterly shattered. Zero quality control. And naturally, they forgot to put in the hot sauce I ordered so I had to walk in and get it myself. Heeelloooo?? Does anybody freaking WORK here?!?! This place needs strong new leadership immediately bc the inmates are running the asylum and they clearly don't give a rip about anything....
Read moreThis is the second time I've gone through the drive through and had nobody answer me. After waiting several minutes, I pulled to the service window and again, nothing. The restaurant was open (opened at 8, this was between 8:10 and 8:25) and there were cars parked and people inside. The previous time this happened was after 9, same situation, months ago.
Even when you get service, a solid 60% of the time you'll be asked to park and have them bring food out to you. I've waited up to 15 minutes in a parking space for food that I've ordered ahead of time in the app. And I've STILL had them get it wrong, which means back to the drive through and another wait in a parking space. This has no correlation on whether they're busy or not; I've had this happen when I was the only one there multiple times.
Incompetent restaurant. The nearest alternative that works with the app is 15 minutes away, and I've gone there multiple times after having to cancel my order here. That's multiple ten minute trips turned into hour...
Read moreI’ll preface this review by saying that I worked at a taco bell for three years during college. I’m usually the first to defend food service workers against the “can I see your manager types.”
That being said, I stopped by this location tonight (12/20/18) around 7:30 after leaving work late. While I was waiting to order, a gentleman left the kitchen area, walked out to the dining room, opened the door, and motioned to someone outside using his hat, all without removing his gloves. He then walked back into the kitchen and resumed handling food without changing the gloves.
Food safety is not a joke, my dude. Gotta wonder what else you’ve been doing without changing your gloves. Bottom line is, customer safety is more important than the inconvenience of washing your hands and changing your gloves. And yes, you have to wash and sanitize your hands every time you change your gloves.
So yeah, I walked right out...
