The perfect local diner. Just walking into this place gives you a sense of a long history. And the food is amazing. Mind you, I'm not a Burger person but my friend said it was one of the best he had. Personally, I just got a breakfast sandwich and It was great, plain and simple. The coffee is the quintessential diner style coffee which hits the spot like a velvet truck.

Now the while historical thing that was a big plus also is a bit of a negative thing. It's clear that the building itself has seen better days. That being said, you can't pass this spot up. It's as local as it gets with good food. Can't ask for much more than that.

Went with my family for the first time today. We all were served our food sporadically instead of together. I was completely finished and my mom and grandmother were close before we were even acknowledged by someone to let them know my dad and my grandfather had not gotten their food yet and we were given a look like, "well we didn't know." The food was great. The service, not so much. There are several other places in town to choose from where we can get better service. The service was wonderful!! The food was also great! They were more than happy to honor our requests for using a smaller amount of oils than what they typically use. The only reason I knocked a star off is because this place needs cleaned from top to bottom. The amount of dust build up is pretty gross. From the bottoms of the cross bars on the chairs to the ceiling and all the vents… it could use a good professional clean. Other than that, service and food...
