Waffle House — Restaurant in Picayune

Let me start by saying that the young waitress here was certainly worth 5 stars, she was friendly, polite, and went the extra mile for me. I wish I could remember her name... But let's talk about the restaurant, the table was a little sticky, not too bad, but the sugar wouldn't pour because the top was clogged up which means they wipe the outside with their dish towels and water builds up on the top so when sugar pours through it sticks there... that's disgusting and I can assume they were all in such shape... the syrup had syrup on so of course I have to make another trip to the restroom to wash my hands again before I could eat my undercooked waffle and my severely overcooked hash browns... But, the waitress made a fresh pot of coffee for me, she was worth that $5 tip on an $11 bill, if not for her I wouldn't stop here again... if you're in here, look for the young girl of Hispanic descent, if she's not there turn around...

Absolutely horrible service!! My cousin and I waited for about five to ten minutes to get our drinks. Then we were ready to order and the waitress claimed “the cook was in the stock room” while she was outside smoking. No one went and got the cook so we had to wait 25 minutes till she was done with her cigarette. Then are food was burnt and disgusting. And we literally had to walk to the counter and get ourself a fork. My cousin had told the cook that she did not get onions in her hash browns and didn’t not get silverware and then our waitress claimed that she didn’t have to be rude. My cousin told the waitress that she saw the cook smoking and wasn’t in the stock room and the waitress said “yeah well I needed an excuse and it wasn’t any of her business where the cook was!”...

Our services was terrible!!! Our server Gail, was very rude and loud! Maybe she was stressed out from something in her personal life, I don't know, she was very unprofessional, disrespectful, and very ugly. She did not wait our table and was most likely under the influence or forgot to take her medicine. My husband and I tried to have a date night, which turned into her not waiting on us, being rude to us and other customers & ease dropping on our conversation. She was yelling and being loud with us, the other customers and employees of waffle house also.
