Extremely rude and aggressive customer service. ordered online for pickup and it said food would be ready at 10:41pm. We waited and kept refreshing the page to see confirmation that our order was ready but none came. I finally entered the restaurant around 10:50. They had a sign saying they were short staffed which is understandable so I waited patiently at the counter to be helped. A few minutes later an employee came over and I let her know I was there for an online pick up. I gave her the name and had to repeat it several times as she gave me increasingly exasperated looks. We walked over to the bag and she shoved the receipt in my face so I could confirm the name, which it took me a second to do because things shoved unceremoniously in my face are disorienting. I confirmed it was my order and asked how long it had been ready. She said itās ready. I asked how long it had been sitting there and she repeated that itās ready. Another employee walked over and I asked again how long it had been ready and he said itās not up to them, itās what the people put in the app that he has to go by, to which I showed him my screen saying the order was not ready and said it was my food to which he shrugged. I then asked again how long it had been there and he said 10-15 minutes. I left because itās been a long day and Iām exhausted and didnāt want to wait for them to remake it and didnāt trust that it would be worth the extra 20 minutes of rude ācustomer serviceā. So we get 2 cold soggy sandwiches for $40. Yay. I know Dennyās is not high class dining but Iāve got to be honest, I expected...

Worst customer service ever. First time he took 10 min just to come to the counter to greet me. And tonight I was trying to give him the benefit of doubt, I asked for a to go order, I requested an oj while I looked at the menu. This guy had the worst attitude. So I kindly let him know in advance that Iād be paying ebt and using a coupon. Iāve done this before here and other locations , to which he replied āwe donāt do that, youāre already getting it cheap we dont do coupons ā well Iāll be darned ! I thought: interesting that I have done it before and ,(lets just say for some crazy reasons policy dictates )that you canāt use coupons with ebt I said āok forget the coupons can I just order?ā To which he responded āno!ā Told the coook not to make my meal. I rarely leave reviews , but this employee here is a joke with yo big of an ego and not enough pay. This is not the way your employees should handle customers and ,have such a lack of hospitality . I would never treat a customer the way I was treated , especially if im getting paid to have that job: and to that employee YOU DONT OWN THAT BUSINESS OR RUN IT, SO STAY IN YOUR LANE AND LEARN CUSTOMER SERVICE AND PROVIDE GOOD DECENT...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy niece had been craving Denny's for a few day, so we finally decided to go on Friday night, after we both go off of work. Met up with my sister and my other niece there. We went in, I was smiling and polite, didn't get a hello. I asked to be seated at a table not booth, so she told me to sit wherever I wanted, and that was the last thing we were told. We sat down and waiting for 15 minutes, no one came by to give us menus get our drink orders, nothing. There was about 4 servers working and maybe 4 other groups. At one point I look over and there was 2 servers helping one table. We decided to get up and leave. As we were walking out, they looked right at us and still nothing. As if they didn't care. From the other reviews I was reading, I guess it's a common occurrence, so they must be used to it.
Anyways, my niece still wanted Denny's, so we made our way to the one on Paramount and Whittier. They had a full house but still managed to give us amazing service. I joked about it when we sat down, because we got menus within a minute of being there. When we were paying I mentioned our earlier experience to the person at the register ( I think he was the manager) and he said both locations have the same owner, he apologized for our awful experience.
We will not be going back to this location, even though it's close to both...
