Karina's Mexican Food — Restaurant in Pico Rivera

Been coming here for years since they are close to my work and I love their food. Stopped going so much because they kept raising their prices and wasn’t happy about that. Went today and got a carne asada burrito and taco. Gave them a $20 bill I got from a bonus at work. They tell me it’s fake and no good. Both ladies looked at it and said it was fake. So I give her my credit card and she runs it and gives me the receipt. $13.86 for 1 taco and 1 burrito. I question her about it and she says she’s right. We go back and forth since it is $11.25 before tax. She says there is a surcharge for credit card and grabs her calculator. It should have been $13.01. She goes into the register and pulls out .85 cents and slams it on the counter. I go back to work and test the bill with a pen and a counting machine. Bill is real and not fake. I will never be back there, even though I love their food. The attitude towards me is...

The food is good, most of ladies are really nice but today was very dishearten. I was refused a phone order because girl on phone did not understand ENGLISH & simply hung up in my face. I called back; she said "no comprendo"; she did not try, did not ask another employee for assistance & this is NOT the first time we called in an ENGLISH phone order. We do not speak fluent Spanish but we do speak the food language....Tacos, burritos, chicken, asada and have always been able to put in a phone order without fail. Going forward we will only patronize when we have a Spanish speaker in the office to phone in the order.

Apparently ONLY SPANISH speaking phone orders when this chick is at work....Ugh. Bad Service today. All customers should be respected no matter...

I had the tripas tacos. first of all, Tripas is something i would never order cuz I haven't had them done to where I am hooked so i asked the worker what her favorite was and she said " tripas". I was hesitant but said okay give me a taco. OMG ... IT WAS THE BEST TACO I HAD IN A LONG TIME. ESPECIALLY for it being TRIPAS!!!!

A MUST TRY FROM HERE!! I went the next day and 5 days later . I've been telling everyone about my tripas taco. it was so delicious and cooked right ...crispy!!! BOMB best believe, I'm hooked on...
