Mario's Taco's is Iconic in Pico Rivera an a big part of many people s childhood including mine there is no tastier green burrito around period you may find bigger or more decorated elsewhere but if you want an authentic real all meat Green pork meat Burrito Mario's is where you will find it. The food is great but even more importantly the family here have true hearts of Gold they have done more than their share of good deeds for the community an sister cities so much for years Celia an her Family are remarkable people an their staff always warm an friendly... Mario's has the same decor they've had for years proudly displaying all the United States Presidents an keeping to very traditional Mexican decor an proudly displaying community recognition award s etc...not much has changed here over the many Year's Mario's has been in business an if this place was part of warm childhood memories like it is for me that's a good thing cause you know the family honors tradition an things of the heart..The 50 year anniversary celebration was amazing Mariachi's,a DJ, prices pushed back to prices from 50 Year's ago, free cupcakes, canned drink, commerative Rose Parade Pins with each order, plus a great Red or blue free Reuseable Mario's Taco's full sized grocery Tote bag. Love mine so glad I got. Red one!..most items on the menu that anniversary celebration day was well under 2.00 about .70 cents or under 2 bucks an Mario's did not skimp that day you got the real full sized deal when you purchased..the line was out the door most of the time an the wait at times was at least an hour or a bit more but everyone happily waited for their order supporting the family an looking forward to some really great family style food an drinks...the wait itself was fun people chatted away as the crew worked feverishly an efficiently to get the orders out an people we're ordering alot...but to see Celia's appreciation an family's excitement pulling together to make it happen was so worth it! We love you Mario's Taco's Celia you, your family an staff did an absolutely amazing job!!!! I know your husband was looking down upon you from heaven sharing the blessed day with all of you...Love ya Celia, we will see you again very soon. This is my first time at Mario's Tacos and trying out the food my wife and her dad they been here many times they say it sports and Mexican and presidential pictures and so many items at this restaurant it feel like a musuem. But anyways we look at the menu display and see what to order then we saw.a sign it's CASH ONLY there's a ATM we got cash to purchase our meal. My wife order the chorizo plate and her dad order the albondiga soup and I decided to order the two tacos of shredded beef plate.

The restaurant is very popular with local residents coming for breakfast or lunch it also a bathing places to met. They call our number to pick up our food my wife dad albondiga soup looks very good. I open the container it have two shredded beef tacos and rice and bean. The tacos is very crunchy with one bite and I can taste the flavors of the taco like the shredded beef season well very good it have cheese,lettuce and Pico de gallo and the rice and beans were very good full of flavors I really enjoy it.

My wife say her chorizo plate was not good it lack more chorizo and the egg were over cook she couldn't taste the flavors of the eggs and the chorizo. My father in law enjoy the albondiga soup and rice he finished the meal. We need to...

I just spent my last penny at Mario's tacos. I'm using a truck that is not my own company vehicle, therefore I did not have masks in it. I looked in the glove compartment to find some in a package, while I'm approaching the door I'm trying to put it on, and I'm struggling because these masks are weird ,they don't have the rubber band type ear holders. I've never seen this type. I go to the register and the woman asks me to put it on, I tell her it doesn't fit, the Mario's tacos daughter passes by and asks me to put it on, the woman at the register says, "On!", I show and tell her, "it doesn't reach, and ask I ask the owners daughter if they can provide me one, she says they don't have any extra, and asks me to at least cover my mouth as her employee is asking me for my cash. I apologized to the woman at the counter but she didn't acknowledge me at that point. It's ridiculous how the government has led them to believe that this is either the only way they can stay open, or stay safe. But you DO NOT have...
