In-N-Out Burger — Restaurant in Pico Rivera

So first of all full disclosure, my boyfriend and I are east coasters so we came in with high hopes from all the hype people talk about here. Honestly I’m a little disappointed with the taste level of what we ate (double cheeseburger/cheeseburger/fries). If reviewing fully on taste I would say it’s pretty average (3/5) because the patty is really thin (I’m a thick patty person) and the fries were very meh, kind of bland and not that crispy. However the vegetables in the burger (lettuce, tomato, onion) definitely tasted fresh which was nice, and the home sauce tasted pretty good. Based on taste of just the classics (burger and fries), I would say it’s average at best compared to other chains and burgers I’ve had. But the customer service was very nice and friendly so I think that raises the restaurant’s quality a bit, and apparently the items on the secret menu are supposed to be better (although personally I don’t think you should have to order off of a secret menu to taste something good). So gross!! I ordered my food, they served us burnt bread, super toasted. They re made our burgers, one of the girls kept laughing as if it's funny. Then they bring our burgers to another sit down guest, the food sat there infront of the man for a full minute. They realize the food was for us, they went back got the food, let it sit there, the guy then says we're good thinking he corrected the mistake and they try bringing us those burgers to us. I went up and said I literally saw what just happen! How gross is that! Def horrible staff. As I'm waking out they are laughing. Definitely gunna put a higher complaint if possible .
