Rio's Pizza — Restaurant in Pico Rivera

When I called to place order, I asked what type of Wings they had, I was told that they have regular , mild, Spicy and BBQ...THEREFORE, I ordered 2 dozen BBQ Wings...Well, unbeknownst to me they actually put BBQ onto the Mild/Spicy Wings and they DID NOT inform me that what they do is NORMAL that they receive the Wings already COATED with MILD and SPICY spices and if a customer prefers BBQ sauce they cover the Mild and Spicy.... I called to notify that I had to throw the 2 dozen Wings away...I requested to speak with the owner and Apparently he is only there either Saturday or Sunday, which the manager is NOT sure as to exactly when the owner will...

This is the second time I’ve been denied service due to a new, absurd policy requiring orders over $50 to be paid over the phone. I was told our phone number wasn’t in their system, even though we just picked up an order last weekend. It feels like we’re being phone-profiled—an incredibly strange and disappointing experience. We've been loyal customers for over 24 years, and I’m not sure what changed. Just as you don’t trust your customers to pick up orders without pre-payment, I don’t trust giving my credit card information over the phone. Unfortunately, we will no longer support...

Ordered pizza over the phone told us told it would be 25-30 minutes, arrived 10 minutes later to pay and they stated come back in 25- 30 minutes. We walked outside to our car parking spot right in front of location when we saw them stack some pizza on shelf 20 minutes later, still did not call us until an additional 20 minutes after and go figure our pizza’s we’re the ones on the shelf. Shout out for cold pizza. Paid way too much for cold pizza. Order from her so much and disappointed tonight. Not use to this customer...
