Was so so so excited when I heard they were opening! I'm a fan of their food and live much closer to this new location than the Trolley location. The food is great- always freshly made and hot. However, their process for Uber Eats/ DoorDash/Grubhub needs some serious improvements. Their orders have never been ready at the time of pickup- I always get stuck waiting at least 10-15 minutes past the promised time of pickup. The easy solution for this is to pause the incoming orders on the Restuarant end rather than continuing to accept orders out of greed- time is money- let your kitchen get caught up and don't make the delivery driver wait time and time again.
The blonde woman at the front counter when you walk in always seems to be stressed and overwhelmed, and gives me the impression I'm in her way and bothering her whenever I come to pick up an order for delivery. For starters, it would make BOTH of our lives easier if the delivery service area was clearly marked. I've been on the receiving end of her snippy commentary - one example is me simply pointing to a bag with three items in it ( my order had theee items) and asking if it was for the customer I had. I was met with a NO! Very abruptly and a glare.
I can understand you are a new location and staffing is sure to also play a part, but a little kindness and clear labeling goes a looooooong way. Please do better. I'm beginning to dread pickup orders and am considering no longer picking up for this restaurant.
Side note: correct the spelling of homemade on your fridge. As it stands now, it...
Read moreI am torn about my experience there today and I understand the manager was offended by me however everything on the side means just that. I sent my daughter there to get lunch. I called them twice and asked questions. The manager was right I asked about the side falafel platter which then he said it was with rice included. I didnât want a sandwich and didnât realize it was a sandwich either way. Thatâs a first world problem I get it! However I was clear to my daughter all sauces in the side. She said she told the manager everything on the side and when it came covered in sauce. I called and she explained she was upset that I would accuse them and that I had an attitude. She was right I did becuase everything on the side means just that and if it wasnât her who made the mistake it was my daughter since I texted her all sauce on the side twice and ok she didnât like my accusing them of being wrong however why accuse my daughter. The sandwich was decent not great but not bad and when I was a teenager I worked in a Greek restaurant twice. She did offer to remake quote because my daughter was lovely however my attitude was not appreciated. That was not how to handle the situation. My daughter swore she told her however they had a lot of communication after that too. Sadly I wonât order again and sadly I guess both sides me and then could work better on...
Read moreThe order estimate we provided was 30m. Though we showed up at that time, we werenât greeted when we arrived. More over, we were outright ignored for 10 minutes while they continued to prioritize taking new telephone orders over servicing the customers inside the store. There were orders packaged up all over sat there going cold, and customers waiting to collect them, all of whom were ignored. When I finally gave the employee no option but to look at me as I stood directly in front of the register, she checked for our order, and advised it wasnât yet ready (this would now be 15 minutes after their 30 minute estimate). She did not apologize, simply said We could pay, and she would get it when it was ready.
We were then forgotten about, and though she packaged our food up herself, she didnât advise it was ready. Just dropped it with the growing collection of cooling food, and took more phone orders. When we finally had enough, and asked if it was ready, we were handed cold food and that was the end of the interaction. More orders to take.
Though the food was nice, after being microwaved at home, the service and waste of my evening left a deeper impression. I will...
