BIGGEN'S BARBIE-Q (BBQ) — Restaurant in Pikeville

The food today was likely the BEST I've had from BIGGEN'S! I ate there TWICE today. For lunch I had a new dish (smoked Brats on Pretzel buns) and for dinner I Kale salad served with fresh extremely moist pork with bar-b-que sauce drizzled over. BOTH were just phenomenal! The owner of this small business was inviting and friendly, even after an extremely long day. Luckily I got there in time to get dinner before he had sold out of the day's food. Really wanted to like this place. I guess I'm spoiled, having grown up so close to Memphis, but BBQ should be smoked. The sides were nothing to write home about either.

The service. Lol, I watched the guy behind the counter lecture the lady in front of us about the line, about how busy he is, and that if she stepped out of line he would intentionally ignore her. Thing is, she had called in her order 30+ minutes beforehand.

Biggins provided food for our District Garden Club meeting. Members attended from all across KY. EVERYONE was blown away by the food! A lady from London (KY!) said she and her husband attend bbq contests all over the country and that Biggins' was "the best" she's ever eaten! She took some home to her husband😊. Besides pulled pork and chicken (so tender and moist it really didn't need sauce), there was chicken and dumplings, potato casserole, kale salad, and green beans. All delicious!
