We went to our neighborhood Dunkin donuts just a few minutes ago at 3:14 pm on 5/19/25 and may have had one of the worst customer experiences ever. We pulled into the drive thru and there were no cars in front of us anywhere, not even at the pick up window. We rolled down the window and waited a few seconds then said hello? As no one had said anything. A voice came back with a grumpy tone/attitude that said, “wait a minute!” and nothing else. After waiting 2 minutes we said hello? again and the voice came back and only said, “what do you want?!” We ordered half a dozen donuts - nothing complicated - and a strawberry refresher drink. The person was rude and short with the order but asked us 2 questions about the drink order: did we want lemonade and what size? We told her medium and yes please to the lemonade. We drove up to the window, paid with our card and the worker had a rude attitude and look on her face and she handed us the box of donuts. We asked where the drink was and she asked aggressively, “What drink?!” We told her the strawberry refresher that we ordered and she said, “Oh, I never heard you order that, your car is too loud!” (We have a 2 year old SUV that is not loud). We then asked her, but you asked us if we wanted lemonade and what size drink so you knew about it. She came up with another excuse and that was the end of the interaction as we were so frustrated we didn’t want to reorder it. The name on the receipt is “Elvia” - not sure if she was who we dealt with, but if so, she needs a refresher on customer service. We will NOT be going back bc of her terrible attitude and poor...
Read moreLet me start by stating that the staff here is always kind and appear to be of good cheer. Haven't had one rude worker ever. There are 3 specific things that make me give 3 stars rather than 5. I hope that someone in there upper management actually reads this because one concern, may be out of the restaurant manager's control. That is, the obstructed view as you exit on the Hansel Ave side. As you exit, you really can't see the traffic unless you stick your vehicle too far out that you can get hit. The obstruction comes from trees and shrubbery that is in need of serious trimming or even removal. The liability should be too big to ignore. Next is the menu board. DD offers many choices but the board is so hard to read as it is faded and the letters so small. Maybe a new board would expand the sales so that people can see the various options. Lastly, I don't know why.... 2 out of 5 times that I ask for an UNSWEETENED iced tea w/ lemon and Splenda... I get Sweet tea with lemon. For a diabetic, that's not good and it becomes a wasted purchase, as I have to discard it, as well as wasted time. One time, I caught the mistake before I left and swung back around and told them. They remade the teas for us, but did so affirming that I was wrong. After years of drinking this drink, I can tell the difference. Mistakes happen... I get it. Read moreExtremely disappointed in this location. I love Dunkin’s food, but this team really messed up the experience for me. Did a mobile order of 2 bacon avocado toasts, snackin bacon, hash browns, 2 donuts, and an iced coffee. They asked up to wait while we were at the drive through speaker which was fine. There was an impatient lady behind us honking and decided to go around us directly to the window. They helped her before our order and still made us wait at the speaker. The one speaking with us was clearly peeved. This seems like a normal occurrence for whenever I order food items. She told us pull up to the window and she handed us our coffee. Had to wait a bit longer for the food, which is fine. She handed us some food and closed the window. Came back a couple minutes later asking what we’re still waiting on. We said donuts and a straw. She came back with them and practically slammed the window shut. The bacon on the toast was not cooked crispy, wasn’t cut, and it was sweet. This isn’t how I normally receive my avocado toasts and it was a nuisance to eat. The snackin bacon as well, wasn’t cooked all the way and there was no extra brown sugar (or whatever they use) or black pepper put on it. Hash browns and coffee were both made well.
