(Aug 2, 2023 Update) Drive-Thru visit - There has yet to be a change at this Wendy's, but today's experience was one I had to bring to your attention. A female cashier took part of my order today, had me to wait like last time, and then in came the manager to do the same (a stop and go process) and complete my order.
I went to the window, paid cash, gave the manager $6 for a $5.33 meal and the manager handed me $0.50. Now I may not be a mathematics professor, but I'm no slouch when it comes to doing the math. This guy clearly short changed me. I brought it up and he hands me a dime, which still doesn't provide me the complete change that I'm rightfully owed. I left without the $0.07 owed to me, but once I got the chance, my next step was to come and warn you to count your change.
This particular manager worked around 1pm and was a heavyset Latin male with a salt & pepper beard. Beware.
Outside of being shortchanged, the nuggets were undercooked.
(Previous review) This review is solely from the drive-thru experience. As of 2023, I can't say that this locations standards are being maintained. Even the manager doesn't know how to work the order system that well (it's not a language barrier either, because he would repeat what was said and he was literally trying to figure it out in real time).
He will get one part of your order, and tell you "Just one moment please", and then ask for it again, and will do the same thing after about a minute or so of silence when asking for the next item (i.e. your drink or sauce). If you're pressed for time, it's a bad combination.
It backs up the drive-thru greatly, and I'm trying to be understanding but if it's that bad why not just have a system like Checkers that takes the orders at the box and that can process the order or something.
The manager is speaks, but the employees as of late certainly require some retraining in customer service if they're interacting with customers. Blank stares while handing you food is... weird, and that's not code for, please come again.
This isn't the first time I've experienced this during lunch hours.
My advice: If you and/or your family/team need lunch, mobile orders help bypass this sort of stuff to a degree (excluding customer service and waiting for...
Read moreClean, bright, quiet place to get a bite to eat while visiting with friends. Could actually talk to each other without raising our voices. The staff was friendly and efficient. Service was fast. Since you get your own drink, you can get it quickly before your food is ready.
This place had truly comfortable seats, booths, and tables. There were outlets to charge or plug in electronics. Kiosks were available for ordering, but we preferred the friendly cashiers. NoTVs and we didn’t need them.
This location was right off the interstate. It was a convenient place to meet. It had a large parking lot, and the restaurant had early and late hours, but we were here mid-day. The parking lot was as clean as inside. The drive thru was busier than inside. Seems to be the case at most “fast food” restaurants.
We only had drinks. Can’t say anting about the food. Not this...
Read moreI used to work at another fast food restaurant so I know what it's like and it isn't the best job in the world. But it was easy. That being said, I have no idea how Wendy's consistently gets every order wrong. Out of the last 50 or so visits, I've only gotten what I actually ordered a couple of times. Today was the last straw. After waiting 8 minutes in the drive through line, I ordered a Jr Cheeseburger Deluxe, add mustard. That's it. Simple, right? Well they asked me if I only wanted mustard. I said no, please put everything else on it, the lettuce and tomato. So I got my burger and guess what... Only mustard, onion and mayo. Don't know why some ingredients made it on and others didn't but wrong again. The only thing you can count on Wendy's for is to get your...
