Yes, go. We got the Bavarian pretzel with cheese. It was very good. Husband ordered the chicken and waffles and loved the chicken especially. Has a ton of flavor and I believe they brine it. You could smell the sweetness of the waffles and or syrup that came with it. He thought it was very good. I had the wings, which I believe could've been pressure cooked which I tend to like cause they were not greasy at all and looked fresh didn't taste frozen. I did get the sauce on the side. I like to see how food looks uncoated first after it's prepared. I'd say they are among the best wings in the area. There is one other place I like up north but they did just as good if not better of a job. They offer dishes others in the area from what I remember lately don't or haven't yet, such as lamb tacos.
The service was excellent A+. They also appeared to work as a good team. Owner came buy which is always nice.
I would suggest increasing the sandwich offerings part of the menu, especially being open for lunch. Most won't always sit down for a steak but the size of the appetizer menu makes up for it and can surely be used as lunch items, such as their Nashville chicken sliders and grilled shrimp.
The owners do have a long history in the restaurant business and it shows. The only concern to me would be location. People need to know this is new and in the Arhaus shopping plaza. Maybe some small events to get people through the door such as a little live music outdoor would be beneficial. I'm sure they are making efforts. The only way this place would have difficulty is due to location and not being known to everyone that they are new because the FOOD AND SERVICE IS A 9.2 OUT...
Read moreWe recently hosted our son’s rehearsal dinner at Wexford Public, and it was absolutely perfect from start to finish. From the moment you approach their beautifully decorated front entrance, you can tell you’re in for something special. The atmosphere is warm, inviting — the perfect setting for such an important occasion. The food was incredible — every dish was delicious, beautifully presented, and cooked to perfection. Our guests couldn’t stop talking about how wonderful everything tasted. The service was exceptional. The bartenders — Mike, Shannon, and Rich — were friendly, professional, and kept everyone’s glasses full with a smile. Our servers — Maria, Jessica, and Kaylee — were attentive, efficient, and made sure everything ran smoothly throughout the evening. Our guests said they were the best servers they’ve had in a long time! And a special thank you to Melanie, the owner, who was such a pleasure to work with from the planning stages through the event itself. Her attention to detail and genuine hospitality made the entire experience stress-free, easy to plan and enjoyable. We couldn’t have asked for a better venue or team to help us celebrate this special occasion. I would very highly recommend Wexford Public to anyone looking for outstanding food, a beautiful atmosphere, and truly top-notch service. Thank you...
Read moreKnew little about this place, but stopped here on a whim after visiting relatives nearby. After expecting a neighborhood bar, we were happy to find a really excellent restaurant that also had great libations. The atmosphere is light and comfortable with lots of booths and tables that are spaced far enough apart to give lots of breathing room. There are all kinds of food options, from shareable appetizers to sandwiches and salads, to upscale entrees. The food is obviously prepared on site with fresh ingredients. First, the warm bread that our very friendly server brought us with our beverages was a delicious surprise. My Caesar salad was cold and crunchy with excellent dressing. And my husband’s minestrone soup was thicker and more flavorful than most others he’s had. The steak in my “steak frites” was super beefy but tender, and it was served with a huge mound of crispy, thin, yummy fries. My husband had the bolognese. Very tasty, meaty sauce; huge portion! We were way too full for any desserts, but I bet they are delicious too! We’ll certainly be back when we’re in the...
