China Gourmet — Restaurant in Pinedale

Awful experience everytime. Was hoping the first 2 visits were bad days, we understand everyone has them. But today was the last straw. The server was so rude and in such a rush. A table of 5, and he smaked his own face like we were an inconvenience. That's nice! When asked a question he snapped. When I tried to order from the lunch menu he snapped at me, I didnt realize it was after 3. But we did stand at the "please wait to be seated" sign for 20 minutes without even being greeted.yes, they actually had customers (the previous 2 times we have come it's been totally empty) so maybe that was the overwhelming issue for them but seriously it's a restaurant!! None of the other employees or servers were very polite. The food looks so pretty when it comes out, it's a great portion size, and it tastes like distilled water and raw veggies. The carrots and the broccoli were rock hard. Most of it sucks, except the cream cheese Rangoon that thing is awesome and my daughters cherry chicken wasnt bad either. That is it. My husband and I stopped here for dinner coming from Teton National Forest. We were glad that the restaurant closes at 9:30pm that night because it was already 8:15pm when we got to Pinedale. I rate the food and atmosphere 5 stars because the food was not only cooked well, the plating was nicely done too. I had like a combo meal with fried rice, pork sweet & sour and it came with chowmein and beef & broccoli and they all have their own taste which made the meal even more appetizing. Most of these combination meals have food that would taste the same. But this is not the case, and I was impressed. The serving was also generous. The restaurant has a good ambience and comfortable seating. People were still coming in even at 8:30pm. The service was quick. The man was very rude the food was very ugly very poor service will not recommend no one to eat here told me to take my food home of I didn't want to I would be better off serving it to my dog their lo mein was ugly as hell why don't you look up the China Garden in Lander Wyoming way way better than this restaurant and their lo mein is off the chain and China Garden will never ever eat at this place it was horrible horrible very bad experience so we went to eat right in front of them at the Mexican restaurant omg they where so nice and caring and was telling them how rude the people where at the Chinese gourmet and she said what a shame cause it was a small community if y'all want happy and respectful people go on and head over there real good food way better than the Chinese I feel so sick from eating there and how the many treated me I have...
