Gannett Peak Lodge — Hotel in Pinedale

What an absolute gem. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with all the amenities that I'd hope to see. Full sized fridge, microwave, chairs, table, coffee, nice big bed, all the creature comforts of a larger hotel chain for a more moderate price. Couldn't hear my neighbors, and within walking distance of dozens of small features.

Brittney & John took care of us while we were there and I was so happy they did. They made sure I had no unanswered questions, including where to go for various things and how to walk there.

If I had to be extremely nitpicky, I would say my only "complaint" is the showerhead is close to the side wall in the bathroom and isn't angled away from the wall, meaning you have to stand fairly close to the wall when showering. The ventilation inside the bathroom itself isn't the greatest either so the mirror fogs up, but that never translates to a stuffy interior as the room was equipped with a wall unit and windows that could open for ventilation. Of my entire 2 week trip, I slept the best at this location.

I would love to stay here again, and the only thing limiting me is that I'm probably not going to be in the area anytime soon. But if I ever come back to Pinedale, no questions about it Gannett Peak Lodge will be 100% on the top of my list for places to...

We were on a motorcycle trip from Colorado to Montana last week when the skies opened. It poured. We made it to Pinedale, stopped at a cafe, had breakfast and warmed up but it was still raining. The woman at the counter said “we’ve got some great places to stay just around the block “ so we called. We wanted to stay in a cabin but the only king bed was available at Gannett Peak Lodge. Since my husband is over 6’ we took it. We could not have been more happy. Motor lodges sometimes have shady reputations but this was outstanding! It was clean, well appointed, comfy bed and pillows, TV, good water pressure, fridge, microwave, coffee pot and blow dryer. Even had a rag specifically for cleaning our bike. The top 2 things that I didn’t expect.....1)the exterior was gorgeous! Trees, hanging baskets of flowers, covered porches with seating. It was quiet and wonderful. 2) the people were absolutely the best! Sophia got us a room right away so we could get out of the rain and Deb showed us around and gave us suggestions of places to see once the rain stopped. Welcoming, wonderful. We loved it and will...

I’m a person Who reads the reviews to make sure I know I can get into myself into. This hotel was great! That was a convenient location awesome brewery and was at the gates of the wild. I’m not a city slicker and I have experienced quite a bit of wildlife and backwards. Nature in my time this place was both fascinating and great (pinesdale). The hotel room is small, quaint and perfect for a person coming by or in a few days it was clean had a great shower system heating was fantastic and the owner/Employee who I talk to was wonderful as well. If I have to make any type of con list, it would be only one of two things: a. I wish the shower head was a little bit taller since I’m a tall gentleman, and b. I wish there was conditioner as well. If that’s the only problem, that’s easy to handle by far and worth no dang to the score of this .
