Visited here for the first time this evening with my family. The Chicken katsu was beautifully cooked. Very tender meat and perfectly crispy breading. The various ramen had by my family was praised highly, with rich broths and wonderful toppings. The pork Bao/buns were delicious, the takoyaki was perfect. Pretty straight forward, simple ordering. The bubble teas were especially delicious, I will highly praise the Taro flavor in this regard. It was wonderful! The ladies at the counter were absolutely sweet, patient and helpful, too.
My only minimal complaints are: There are no smaller plate/bowl options for children. The miso ramen bowl was much too large to be tackled by a 7 year old, so I only wish there had been an option for a smaller serving. I also wished there had been a physical menu at the entrance, rather than closer to the cash register. I feel this might have made ordering a bit easier, especially for "newbies" or people who have anxiety, or even those who cannot see the monitors from the door or line. Not a huge issue, of course!! It's just my opinion. My biggest issue was very likely the music played, at the time we were there. At the very unfortunate risk of sounding like an uncool "karen", though I'm not typically one to complain about music, I found it very uncomfortable sitting with my mom in law, husband and 7 yr old, hearing lots of cursing/swearing in whatever music the employees had switched to (it had been, I assume, k-pop, j-pop... or something of the like prior to getting switched, which we were all enjoying otherwise). I think this wouldn't have been as much an issue if it was just a couple words, but I don't think it appropriate in a family friendly place to hear songs about sex, where every other word is a cuss... especially when you're sitting with your family, and your 7 yr old.
Anyway, aside from the latter, overall it was just a great experience. We'll be sure to...

We went to this location last night a little over an hour before close. We are greeted with a warning that we won't be able to dine in since it's within an hour of close. I look at my phone and see we are 6 minutes before an hour to close. I'm a bit annoyed as it seems arbitrary. I'll wipe the table down...sheesh!
To go from that to one of the best customer service experiences I've had in a long time? What a treat. Andy said he was just a sub there but he was amazing. AMAZING. He walked us through what he likes and why he likes it. It didn't feel like he was selling to us. It felt like he was sharing his earnest view and I felt it. I tell you - this dude can run for Congress. He's super likeable and his manner was perfect.
Example - we ordered a bunch of boba teas (so we thought) but one didn't have boba. We probably didn't specify but my wife is pretty pregnant and I could see her bobaless treat was starting to get her going. She's non confrontational. No problem...I'll ask for add in boba. Or I'll just buy a new one. Andy SWOOPS up our cup "I'll remake it. Don't even sweat it" and you felt it, man! He was just so darn nice. I want the best things for Andy. I'm sad it's not our closest Kung Fu Tea & Token Ramen and I'm sad that he's "just a sub". I'd buy a car from this dude.
Food: It was our first time but we will definitely be going back. The tapioca pearls were perfect. The tea is very customizable. We didn't get ramen as we had to order to go but he explained how customizable that is too. The appetizers we got were great. The chicken quality for the teriyaki sticks were a big hit in our party.
Excited to go back. But just wanted to gas up Andy here publicly since he was so great. He is for sure a big part of...
Read moreEDIT: Changed the rating from 3 to4. I came back 4 months later, and the service was very friendly and quick. The cashier made some small talk, which I enjoyed. My mom really enjoyed her drink, so I would recommend that all drinks be at 75% sugar or less
PREVIOUS: If you're ordering in person, ask for a reciept. I've been here before and had an okay experience, so that's why I gave three stars. But today instead of the app, I decided to go in and order three drinks. I ordered a Taro Slush, Winter Melon Milk Tea, and Peach-ade. I saw my drinks being bagged when I noticed the Peach-ade was a milk tea. I told the employee bagging the drinks, and he went to fix it. It was fine since it was probably hard to understand with a mask and microphone. Another employee asked me what my order was and and after I told her, she said there was a miscommunication and my order wasn't ready. I felt bad since that other employee went to make a new drink. After awhile I went to ask on the status of my drinks, but everytime I was cut off and told my order wasn't ready. It wasn't until a large group who ordered after us got their drinks, did the employee realized something was wrong. She called me to the counter, and asked me what my order was. I told her, and she picked the very drinks that I was trying to pick up earlier up from the counter and put them into a bag. She then asked if I paid. At that point, I was mad but the employee who took my order came up and told her I paid, and he made the drinks a while ago. That was 20 minutes later, so everything was melted, but I was fed up and left with the drinks. This could have been avoided if I had a reciept to prove my order, but I'll probably just use the...
