Tasty Pho — Restaurant in Pinellas Park

I purposely went in to place my takeout order. I specifically asked to have my rare beef placed on the side with my cold rolls. I was told no problem. I also said every single time I came in prior I only received a few bean sprouts and very little anything else. This time the bean sprout bag was filled up with basil cilantro lime jalapeno and all the good stuff that goes with it. When I got home and opened up the package I couldn't find the rare beef. I opened up the packages with the noodles and there was a little baggie with my rare beef no longer rare but thoroughly cooked. I called and spoke to the server who took my order and he told me that the way they do it. I told Tim they've always put it in with my cold rolls I never had a problem before. We have been eating here for over 8 years and the food is excellent, however the service over the past few years has been turning bad. Today is the first time we left without eating after about 40 minutes when only one of two entries arrived at the table. The appetizer that we ordered didn’t come yet and still waiting for the second entrée to come, which should’ve come with the first after the appetizer. While sitting there at the table, we see several people come and go that picked up food and other tables around us being served that arrived after us. Minutes after the first entry came the appetizer came, but without the second entry five minutes later they come with the second entry we told him just give us the bill for the sake. We don’t want the meal we’re leaving, something we have never done before. His reply was awesome. Wow what an awesome lousy...

I moved to this area about 2 years ago. Within that time, I probably dined at Tasty Pho about 20 times. From the very first time then to my most recent visit on 3/23/25, this restaurant is the best Vietnamese restaurant in the this area….maybe one of the best overall for casual dining. The place is always very clean. I don’t know if I have ever been in another Vietnamese restaurant that is cleaner. The servers are friendly and very attentive. Food looks great and tastes even better. My favorite is the ‘nem cuon’ as appetizer and of course special pho. And cannot forget to mention that the restroom is pristine.
