I have been going there all week to order food during lunch. The food there is good and authentic, no complaints about that.
Usually I call and pick up as my time is limited. However, today I called a few times (around 11:30) to order lunch, the first few times the line was busy which is understandable. When my call finally was able to get through, someone picked up the phone but they didn't say anything, I kept saying "hello" but they didn't respond, they had me on the phone for about 1 min, then they hung up. I called again and this time someone answered and said they would call me back and then hung up. I thought maybe it would be busy since it was lunch time. I was about to order somewhere else but I was close by and I didn't want to try anywhere else and be disappointed. I decided to drive there instead (since I was a few minutes away). To my surprise the place wasn't busy, there where only 2 people sitting at a booth and one person ahead of me, paying at the register. When it was my time to order, I told the lady at the register that I thought they where busy since I had called and wasn't able to place an order, she just smiled and didn't say anything. I told her what I wanted to order and she pointed at her ear (she had an earbud in). I tried to be patient and waited for her to finish her call so I could order. I had been understandable up until this point because I thought she was taking an order over the phone but then she told me she was on a call with her lawyer. I felt that was very unprofessional, to make a customer wait to order food while she took a personal call.
The food there is good but trying to order is frustrating, especially if your time is limited and they're on a personal call and can't multi-task (at least). I would suggest that if its an important call to step aside from the register, take the personal call and place someone else to take the orders, instead of being inconsiderate of people's time. I wouldn't have left a tip if it wasn't an option because she wasn't doing her job.
I just found out that they have an app you can order from and I might use that next time instead but I'm not sure if I'll go back there for a while now, after my bad customer service...
Read moreVisited this place for the first time with my husband and children. As we walked in, we noticed it was very clean and cute. We were immediately seated and received menus. Lots of options were available, which was great. The waitress was very friendly, answered all our questions politely, and took our order. We noticed that there was maybe 1-2 other tables only and our food was taking an extremely long time to come out. We started noticing how it was hot inside the restaurant… we started sweating a little. Once our food finally came out and tried it, I was very disappointed. The kids cheese quesadilla, chicken tenders, and fries were all good. I ordered the chicken fajitas, the chicken lacked flavor and was kinda chewy. The rice was cold and the beans with cheese on top was so dry and cold, as if it was taken out the can and placed in the bowl. I only ate the chicken and tortillas. My brother in law ordered the chicken and Al pastor tacos and he said they lacked flavor and were not that great. My husband was happy about his chicken torta and did really enjoy it. Another thing that bothered me was that after bringing the food out, no one came to check to see if we needed anything else or if our food was good, even though it wasn’t busy at all. Maybe they need more cooks so all the food is hot coming out. The waitresses need to check on their tables more often. I don’t think I will be back...
Read moreWe order here atleast 3 to 4 times a month and if you are looking for authentic Mexican food you won't be disappointed!! I personally love their steak and cheese Quesadilla's with creme and the homemade green salsa verde with a squeeze of lime. My son literally craves their tacos and usually orders 4 each with different meat choices from carne asada, pollo/pulled chicken, al pastor/pork and beria/shredded beef. He likes it with red homemade hot sauce, the spicier the better for him. My son is a taco connoisseur and he absolutely loves los homes and would eat here on the daily if he could!! We tend to go on Tuesdays for 1/2 price tacos and if you are interested in authentic tacos on corn Tortillas with fresh salsa verde, come early and just know that they make them fresh to order. Tony and Doris are really great with my son who is really wanting to learn to speak Spanish and they have actually been conversing with him in spanish and teaching him the correct pronunciation. I am sure that these poor reviews probably caught them on a bad day, we all have them, because this place is not overpriced and the food is amazing and...
