Habibi's Express — Restaurant in Pineville

Habibi's is literally a hit with the entire family! Since this place has opened, I have literally lost count of how many times we have eaten there..We're literally on a first name basis at this point! Everyone in our family LOVES the steak or chicken Shawarma! (Even my 2 picky eaters who basically live on nuggets and pizza). Dad loves the Habibi sandwich, and I cannot get over how phenomenal the Dubai chocolate they sell is!! The staff are so very friendly, the business/bathrooms are super clean, it's in a great location! I absolutely adore this place and literally tell everyone it's my new favorite restaurant. After the first time eating there I told my best friend how amazing it was and she's now gone almost as often as I have! It's perfect for nights you don't want to cook too! It's a great alternative to eating fast food trash! But still have the convenience of fast food! And honestly not much more expensive (if at all) than what you'd spend feeding your family at the drive through! I 110% recommend Habibi's! And I am thrilled they opened in my area!!

Literally the only thing I can think of as a "negative" would be their walls are a little bland. They could definitely use some more decor.. but That's literally the only thing I can find that I can say needs improving at this establishment. All in all I'd say it's one of the best restaurants in Pineville for sure. If not one of the best places to eat in all...

The meal was delicious. Unfortunately, the baklava, one of my favorite desserts, was soggy with overly thinned down honey water.

The dining area atmosphere is just not that great. The walls are bare, and the decor is as exciting as a shoe box. Some art on the walls would go a long way to making it feel more welcoming as well as some low ambient music. It was silent as a church on Tuesday and the three tables of customers were whispering, us included. The chairs are new but hard as a brick, I suspect they will last a long while as who could sit on them for any length of time. Neither the chairs, layout, or ambience invite customers to stay. The message seems to be "eat and leave". The restrooms were clean and fully stocked.

Our waitstaff seemed more interested in playing on his phone than being waitstaff. He took our order, brought drinks and then eventually our meal and that was the last we saw of him. My husband had to go and track him down for our check and found him playing on his phone.

Would I eat there again? I don't know, maybe a go to order...

The restaurant is located at 3770 Monroe Hwy Pineville, Louisiana. The food was delicious 😋, we will be back! When I say every bite was wonderful and the staff was excellent, I mean it. The restaurant was clean and a great environment with plenty of parking. I highly recommend this establishment, our dishes are listed below:
