I was so excited to see a new place opening up in Cenla because we rarely get popular or trendy chains here. I waited until after the initial ridiculousness of the line when they first opened, but when I finally did get to check out this great new place I was hugely disappointed in the non memorable quality of the food and it might have been due to the astronomical prices they have on everything. I'm not saying that the food was bad at all, but I can't think of any part of my meal that made me think that it was good and at the end of the day when reflecting on it's quality it doesn't come near to justifying the prices they charge. Also, even though I waited quite a long time to make sure the craze created by a new restaurant, I still have to wait and unexplainably long time every time I've been even though they've never been during peak hours. Once I was even the only person in line and still had to wait so long that it doesn't even make sense. I've given it three different tries and can say that I doubt that I will ever choose to come back to this restaurant except for the one thing they have going for them is that they are the only joint in town that stays open 24...
Read moreI want so badly to like the food more than I do. There's really nothing "wrong" with it, it's just my brain seems to think the hamburgers taste like hotdogs. EVERY TIME. Never bad....just confusing. I keep going back to try more things because I LOVE how polite the staff is. I've never gotten the same cashier more than once, but I've always had the same experience: polite and quick. I usually get a warm greeting and a smile when I go in. I also always get a menu suggestion (because I ask) and they don't mind talking with me to find what's best because I haven't tried much. The food actually looks similar to how it does on the menu, which is incredibly surprising because marketing will always make that look better for pictures. The fries are top notch and I dont know many places that serve spicy ketchup. The restaurant itself is very clean and the tables were freshly wiped when I went in. A lot of it is about the people though, and they...
Read morePineville is now officially my favorite town/city between I-20 and I-10 because of WHATABURGER (I also happen to live here.) The service is fast, food is consistent, staff is friendly, 2 drive-through windows, and the building is very large/sleek. I’ve been praying since I moved here years ago: “LORD, please bless our community a Whataburger” and He did (finally lol.) I drove for years across Louisiana and E Texas for work and it was always the highlight of my trip(s) to find a Whataburger, the Holy Grail of “quick service” restaurants. I grew up on this stuff in Shreveport and yeah, it’s about d* time CENLA got one. Try it out: right next to Monroe Hwy Super Wal-Mart and Goodwill. About to eat...
