I'm not much of a person that sends out bad reviews, but this just felt like one I needed to send, especially with how bad the restaurant has gotten lately. I also worked in fast food so I know how it gets but this is ridiculous.
I used to always come to this McDonalds, and maybe the morning staff is just nicer I'm not sure, but I went last night around 9:30 to just grab something small cause I wanted some coffee.
The line was the same as per usual, not too long but not too short. I pulled into the drive thru and got to the speaker immediately. Speaker turned on and I was told to go ahead with my order, which I did. After I ordered she didn't put it in on the screen but I could hear her talking to someone else, assuming another customer she was attending to which was fine, but when I thought she was asking me to repeat my order again I did and she just said "Can you hang on?" with a bit of attitude.
I was pretty taken aback because I just wasn't expecting her to say that so I didn't say anything and just waited. I'm not sure how long I was sitting there but I was sitting at the speaker for a while and just ended up driving off because I was tired of waiting.
Usually I'm very patient and understanding because I WORK in fast food and customer service, but the way I was spoken to was just unprofessional and rude. An "I'm sorry, I was talking to someone else/another customer, I'll be right with you." would've been fine and I would've even waited 20 minutes.
I've seen bad reviews about this place on here and Facebook, and I had the benefit of the doubt because I never had employee issues, just sometimes my order isn't correct which isn't a big deal to me. I'll just go back and get the correct food with no issue, but this encounter I had last night was wild.
Please reevaluate your employees. Some of them apparently have attitudes and cannot talk to customers politely or have a sense of urgency. If it were at my job, someone else would've taken the order or have told me "I'll be right with you." or "I'll be with you as soon as I can."    Read moreThis is by far the MOST disgusting and extremely unprofessional McDonalds I've ever been to in my life and I hope that something changes there. We spent nearly $30.00 with this facility. I will never stop there again. Its so pointless to leave a comment bc I know that I can't get my money back and nobody cares. I waited nearly 30 minutes for my food, then I waited 25 minutes for my incorrect order to be corrected, apparently their toaster broke while I was there so my "corrected" order had stale buns, cheese cold and hard. The staff does not say "oh sorry for your wait or our apologies for xyz they just act like the customers are the problem. They actually don't speak at all. And it is a hard pill to swallow when you spend that kind of money. Please don't say that McDonald's is short staffed bc there were employees on break eating and eating McDonald's food while the chaos was going on. There were food number signs on tables with nobody there, there were napkins, old food and soda drops on all the tables and employees were on break sitting amongst all of this. The manager would not even make contact with customers she in the dark green collared shirt acted as though customers had not been waiting for over 30 minutes (no joke I can provide time and date)to order and that I had been waiting the same amount of time to have my burgers remade. She did however have time to joke about customers food with the guy preparing our food. Which isn't funny when you are sending out wrong orders and disgusting food. That's beyond unprofessional. And the manager at the same time is using her cellphone while handling food and the person collecting money is also handling the food. All the while the manager is complaining about her higher up not answering the phone to get the toaster fixed and she's hollering for Ethan to get tools from his personal vehicle to help fix it. And still she doesn't look or pay any attention to the customers.    Read moreThe remodel created a lot of open space. It's really clean, spacious, full of natural light. The staff is friendly, however, since they have reopened, there have been numerous times they have gotten my order wrong. So I'll chalk it up to possibly trying to find their bearings in this new space. This is the case regardless of the order being placed on the app with the special requests typed into the designated space for it or if you go through the drive thru. The order will be correct on the screen but when you get to your destination, there's either part missing, something on your burger that you asked to omit or if you ask for extra anything (i like extra pickles) you don't get it. But to their credit I can attest that their ice cream machine is NEVER broken and I have NEVER gotten old fries. One other complaint, if you happen to go to the drive thru and their closed they will not come to the speaker and say we're closed. They just let you sit there. Most Mc Donald's are 24 drive thru. There's no hours posted at the drive thru and since there are still people inside, you don't realize they're closed. There are two guys that have the most awesome customer service. I wish I could remember their names. One I know is an EMT/ERT because we've had conversations a few times while I wait for my order. The other guy kind of reminds me of a young John Candy. I've seen him at the first drive thru window and he's also brought out my mobile order. These two young men are always so friendly...
