Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in Pineville

I am highly disappointed by this location. Everytime I would go here it was never bad. Their chicken was always decent, their popeyes biscuits weren't too bad (a bit inconsistent though), and it was always a fulfilling meal here. Now, after a long day of work my mother insisted we go here since it's not a long drive and it's where we go usually. First off, when she arrived it was a 30 minute or so long wait. Then, when she got the food and drinks everything was completely OFF! All of our drinks had something wrong with them. One drink had a little bug in it just floating. My drink had a stick of sum sort in it. And another drink didn't look like Coke and it tasted horrible. I threw away my drink and just went into the meal. At first, my meal looked as usual. Two drumsticks and a thigh with the side of red beans & rice. I ate the red beans & rice first and the rice was undercooked and a bit on the harder side but the beans were the saving grace. I ate my drumsticks and those things there were delicious, they were fried pretty nicely and tasted good. But then my damn thigh. It was undercooked and it tasted terrible! I had the most putrid aftertaste it was slimy and tasted disgusting! Probably still had feathers in the batter. I'm not coming here until further notice,...

It was very clean in the lobby. The atmosphere was very intriguing . I saw members of the staff cater to an elderly couple. They checked on them frequently and made sure they had everything they needed.(not me though)I wasn’t offended because it gave a small town feel ( I know them feel) I asked for my food for dine in but it was packed to go(not a bad thing though) my food was kind of disappointing. My chicken breast was so greasy( like it sat at the bottom of the pan) that I could not eat it. The wing was good though . I also enjoyed the red beans and rice. They were super busy but still tried to clean in between orders. The way they worked together on that drive though was really nice . The team work was as amazing. They communicated well with each other and it looked like genuine support. I ended up ordering more food because I was so disappointing with the breast. There were no napkins or small lids out...

Got off work, thinking to save myself time with dinner and just grab some chicken on the way home.

Drive thru attendant explained adding a side would save $ on what I was trying to order. (3 piece chicken only)

I (like a dummy didn't check my bag) got home (5ish miles away) open bag.

I asked for 3pc chicken. I was charged for 4pc. I received 2pc.

I had to go back and get it all straightened out. (They gave me the 2pc I was charged for!) BUT absolutely no sympathetic reactions, pretty much, Oh you was given the wrong order, here's what we shorted you, ty, bye

So, I saved "NO" time to say the least and should have went on home and cooked my own dinner like I knew I should...
