Mochiyo — Restaurant in Pinole

Every time I come home from college, this is the first spot I need to visit. The atmosphere in-store is spectacular, and the folks at the counter have always been lovely to me.

Vibes aside, the food is also Really good. Even though I tend to go later in the day, the donuts are always perfectly chewy (as all good mochi donuts are), and they've always got a great variety of flavors available.

The drinks are also super fun. The ube milk tea is always a banger choice, but I was pleasantly surprised by their horchata this time around! Big recommend.

Tl;dr: W place, W service, W food. I would trade all of my worldly possessions for one of their elote or potato half...

The staff here are completely unprofessional.

I understand that they are kids, but the main person who gives us problems or does not know how to work in the service industry is the person who trains the cashier.

On three separate occasions she has offended our family and acted rude and disrespectful. When confronted about it she tries to hide it behind false innocence.

It's just Boba, an entry level job . Its not that serious and does not necessitate attitude.

Chill and just serve your customers with a smile.

Me and my family willl not be coming this location ever again.

Save your self the trip and go to the Boba in El Sobrante or Richmond. Much better...

Omg best corndogs(the potato original and cheese and a bit of sugar dusted 🤤) I’ve ever had in my life and it was very reasonable priced. Also their strawberry 🍓 lemonade with popping boba pearls is just 🤌🏼 Milk tea is delicious too. The young lady working the register is very nice and patient with you while ordering. I’ve yet to try their mochinuts but they look beautiful and delicious! It is small inside so you may want to avoid the time all the school kids gets out. Otherwise it’s super cute and very clean inside. My family and I are so happy they’re in our community and look forward to eating...
