Ate here at about 12 pm. been feeling off and on nauseous all day. its 11:20 PM and still feeling it.
people were nice (actually only the girl with the nice long curly hair was nice), but when food makes you feel as it did me, nothing makes a difference. the other girl with long black hair was I think concentrating to walk normal in her platform shows. and I only saw mean stares from her into the distance.
This is in response to owner's feedback on 7/23/24: I do not leave feed backs for everywhere I go. it's kind of like the GPS apps these day. when you see a speed trap and if you are nice enough, and it is safe, you put it in the app so others won't get ticketed.... I make a point to leave feedback for places that have damaged me with their products. when purchasing foot out I pay to get food which I can absorb and soak in its energy. so, I can go on with the rest of my day. at your place "Nick the Greek", I paid and got sick. you took not just my money but you ruined part of my day and my mood...& I paid for it. how do you talk to your customers when you are feeling nauseous and sick. it's like filling your gas tank at a gas station that owner mixes water or other with the gas......PEOPLE NEED TO BE WORN OF DISHONEST BROKER, in your case maybe careless. I will do you a favor here and give a hint: I see your gyros kebabs are all bought premade from other vendors. That is your 1st mistake... you have no control over the quality of the meat you cook and sell. If you don't have time to make quality meals don't advertise it as such. because most of us know what a good gyro is. and to correct you, I do leave feedback for surprisingly better than...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIāve been to several Nick the Greek locations, but the one in Pinole truly stands out. From the moment I walked in, the staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome (Thank you to the owner Sarina!). They were attentive, friendly, and made sure everything was perfect throughout my visit.
The food here is on another level compared to the other locations Iāve triedāfresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The gyro was packed with juicy meat, the pita was warm and soft, and the sauces had that authentic taste you hope for in Greek food. Everything tasted like it was made with extra care. Very rarely do you see an Owner of a brand the size of nick the greek actually in the store and taking care of customers!! It's fantastic.
Amazing food, even better serviceāIāll definitely be...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIf I could leave a no-star review, I would. I love Nick the Greek, but this location is run by really lazy, cheap people. Customer service: Cashiers have always had an attitude; they don't pay attention while you're ordering and then when they do not hear you they get snippy. Food: Portions are OK but the flavor and care is just not there. I've ordered plates, salads, and gyros. Sloppily put together gyro with little protein and fries and way too much sauce. The plate was the chicken souvlaki- light skewers, too much rice and again sloppy. All of the proteins needed salt. Oh and if you do want a sauce or two after ordering 5 meals they still charged me 50 cents per sauce. Atmosphere: Bad vibes from the staff and seating is limited.
