Subway — Restaurant in Piscataway Township

I have frequently gotten a lettuce/tomato salad, with double tuna fish from here. My grand kids (13 and 17 years old), get a variety of subs when I get lunch with them. They have never said the bread was stale, they eat the whole sub in one sitting and enthusiastically answer 'yes' whenever I mention I am thinking of getting 'Subway'.The salad of 'double tuna fish', lettuce, and a full slice or two of tomato I order is always made with fresh shredded Iceberg lettuce, tomatoes are full slices and the tuna always tastes healthy. The mayonnaise is never 'questionable'. The one thing I they would also serve Romaine lettuce for a healthier option. The Subway store itself is on a corner lot with a private parking lot. This Subway has been at this location for a little over 17 years. The inside is clean and has a few tables/chairs for dining in. We always take ours 'to go'. They also sell water, drinks and soda as well as personal size snacks such as Lays or Ruffle potato chips. They are also serving cookies for a happy ending to the sub meal. Entry is ground level and very accessible for people in wheelchairs or mobility issues. The staff are pleasant and there is always a more experienced staff person, team leader, or owner working whenever we have visited. Across the street on opposite corners is a Walgreens, Dunkin Doughnuts, and hair stylist. Thinking about it, we are going to get some Subway...

The owner is VERY rude. We’ve ordered online MULTIPLE times before and we used a coupon many times for this EXACT location. The last few times when she is there, suddenly she “doesn’t accept them”. Today I placed an order online and the coupon went through with no issues; like every other time.

‼️ (The other times we have gotten our food AND the coupon WORKED no problem, she just wasn’t there. So it’s a “her” thing). ‼️

$ was taken out of my account. However; when we called to confirm our order, she insisted on saying she does not accept coupons, yet MY order went through and my money was taken? Sounds so sketchy . I’ve seen this same lady in person before at the location and she’s not the nicest person. I’m a patient person but this really annoyed me.

Definitely won’t be coming back...

Ordered delivery, the delivery is fast & on time, this place is more miss than a hit. They make sandwiches well sometimes but last two orders I’ve made, about 1-2 months apart. They don’t seem to have good consistency, first few times were fine. Now it’s minor things that are more noticeable now, selected my sandwich to be toasted, barely any jalepenos, one layer of meat, how skimpy & lazy do you have to be? It wasn’t like that at first.
