1st time coming here with a friend. Wasn't busy at all. Can't say the staff went out of their way to be friendly. Felt more like ordering at a college cafe with a disgruntled student. My friend orderd 1st and got an iced latè and toasted bagel w/cream cheese. When she received her "lattè", it only had the milk because they forgot to put espresso in it 🙄 then after about 10 minutes she had to inquire about her toasted bagel which they assured her would be coming soon. It did ....another 15 minutes later (we were told that they had a slow toaster) but when she bit into it it was barely warm and not the least bit crispy.

My "vanilla" lattè DID have espresso in it however, it did not taste like vanilla in the least! I didn't bother asking since the line had grown since we 1st got there and honestly I don't feel that as a paying customer who already tipped a person for merely taking my order should have to go back several times to ask them to do their simple job properly. I won't recommend this place to anyone. In fact I will steer them in the opposite...

My Broker and I meet to discuss business over coffee at local coffee shops every week or two. This last week we visited the “newer” one in Pitman, The Brewed Awakening Cafe.

I was here with my hubby the day they opened, my birthday - April 29th. And it was good, but it was their first day open. I always planned on coming back for a more authentic experience.

I had a medium roast coffee and a slice of pumpkin bread from the famous LeBus Bakery in Philly. My Broker ordered a cappuccino. He said it was presented so nicely he didn’t want to drink it, but of course, he did. It was all really tasty. Service was friendly and attentive.

The real deal to this cafe is the space. There are so many options for sitting and enjoying your beverage. From couches, to comfy seats, to tables - there is something for everyone. The attached space feels like you are at home in your living room!

If you are in Pitman enjoying a parade, a show, or just shopping, I recommend to stop here to grab your coffee. It’s also a great place to bring your laptop to get some work...

I have tried this shop several times, with several different orders and been disappointed each time. I went in today to order and decided on a shaken espresso, as did my partner. On the screen it says one size for $3.50 yet when we ordered they said “which size?” We were confused and said “there’s just one size” to which all 3 people said “we need to fix the menu.” Okay. Fine. But when she went to make the drink she audibly said to the other workers “I feel like I judge everyone who gets this drink.” We were mad at this point. We waited for our drinks, which for some reason do not come out at the end of the bar, and left. We were charged $5+ for each medium that is STILL one shot of espresso. Don’t ask me what size I want AND charge me more when it’s not more product. The drink is LITERALLY mostly foam, too much syrup, and hardly any espresso. It’s also bitter and terrible tasting and while you drink it and after. Neither of us are happy being in there or drinking the drinks we paid too much money for. Dial in your shots and...

I visited the Brewed Awakening tonight with my husband, toddler, and baby. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming as soon as we walked in. The cafe is decorated beautifully and has very cozy and home-y vibes, but also modern and very cute. It has a good amount of comfortable seating and I feel like it would be a great place to relax or even study/work. I got a cortado and it was made perfectly. My husband also enjoyed his cappuccino. The staff was so sweet and offered my toddler stickers. I really loved my experience here and will definitely be back!
