If I could give a negative rating, I would! SCAMMERS! (Screenshots to be posted w/this post showing details) My 1st time ordering, came to $19.19. I paid w/my DasherDirect card (same thing as any bank/ATM card that DD pays directly to) The very next morning, I receive a CashApp request from a “Jennifer Ming” for $34.74 stating for “door dash payment insufficient.” I go to the restaurant with a print out of the Cashapp request as well as my cards transactions statement showing proof that the transaction had gone through. She immediately starts blaming DoorDash, that I have to call them bc it says “door dash payment insufficient,” claiming not to know who Jennifer Ming was (I’m sure personally she didn’t, the cashapp account was made that very day & obviously a fake acct) trying to tell me that if it was them, it would say “Ming Lok” highlighting the restaurant name on my receipt & the time of the cashapp request (??) Of course they’re not going to admit that they had made a fraudulent account to try to scam more money thinking a DoorDash card is not a secured bank card & that maybe ppl recently at Ming Lok would just see “Ming” and just pay the amount thinking that their card didn’t go through. WAY too many coincidences following my purchase. Why would I get random cashapp request the morning following paying at Ming Lok with a DoorDash card from an account made the same day from a “Jennifer Ming”, (who by the way is the CEO of Charlotte Russe, which the person obviously knew due to putting that on their fake acct.) claiming an insufficient door dash payment?? I’ve NEVER gotten a random request on any transfer app from anyone I’ve never known, I’ve NEVER shopped Charlotte Russe in my life, 1st & LAST time I’ll ever buy from Ming Lok. I hope nothing like this has ever happened to anyone else (or if so, they didn’t fall for it) following a purchase from this place. I asked at 7:05 how much longer and was told, “not too much longer, were making it now.” I then said I was told when I called at 6pm it was only a 30 minute time for pickup. I received no apology.
