Food is great, but overall customer service and staff's knowledge is lacking. From the times we've gone and what we've experienced, the staff isn't very well trained and some aren't even knowledgable of their own menu. We were in a car park and were asking for one item menu, which we had just ordered the day before, and were told by the employee that they had never sold such an item. When manager came in, the item was added to the screen in less than two seconds. Also, staff always seem to be very over-worked, which, coming from my point-of-view on foodservice, seems like management isn't very good at staffing properly. Be prepared to spend a long time here. We were in the car stall waiting pretty much two hours for two ice creams. What a wait! And after that, the order was wrong. I almost didn't want to return. The connections between the stall screens and the cash registers seem to lag. One time, our screen displayed the customer next to us's order. Also; don't bother "checking in online". That was a whole 'nother 1.5 hour ordeal. I'm honestly very disappointed. I've never had a Sonic in my area, and I was so excited when this one was built. The hellstorm experiences I've had here so far make me doubt if I'll ever return again. Maybe I'll give it a year; they're still new, so maybe they just need some time to get proper staff and management going.

Everyone please pay attention to your receipt. Sonic was one of our favorite places however this location manages to cheat their customers time and time again. I can understand when it gets busy that food gets left out or the employees gets frustrated because there is a long line. I recently looked at the couple of receipts that they gave us and not only were we overcharged for things but charged for things we didn't order. I first thought it was because we were going to a location in the bay area so things cost more but I quickly realized that they were overcharging us and that's why it was more expensive. Why would you up charge for lime on a limeade when all we did was ordered an limeade? Please provide customers with receipts it's a lawful practice in which they can see when they might getting cheated. In a time of crisis please treat people with kindness. We will drive out to Tracy once the shelter in place is over because they don't try to pull one over their customers.

My kids had been excited to finally get a Sonic in the area. Today we finally went. We opted to go through the drive-thru. Boy, what a disappointment..after a long wait finally paid and had to wait another 10 minutes at the window. As we drove off I handed out the food. I paid almost $6 for two large french fries, they looked like someone had already ate out of them. Portion size was so disappointing. All the burgers we're dry and the french fries seemed to have been sitting there forever. They we're dry and without flavor. You would have thought since it had recently just opened and with the large amount of people ordering, the food would have been fresher. No ketchup and not 1 napkin was given. 😡 Just opened up the grilled cheese, at least that is what they call it.

After not being able to go when you first opened as lines were too long, I finally went last night 10:30. I went through the drive thru and waited so long before ordering. Because the wait was so long I had to get out of the line to go inside. I went into the dining area and noticed teenagers soliciting at the side where employees enter. There was one worker eating while another worker passed him food. Not sure if worker who was eating was on break or not. In the meantime I'm standing at the counter while there are two workers near me along with the solicitors (who entered at the employees side in plain clothes) just standing and I'm waiting to order. I'm standing there for about 8-10 minutes. At that point a worker came from the cooking area and asked me if I wanted to order, I replied yes and he told me that the dining area was closed but the drive thru was open. At that again I thought to myself the front doors should be locked so people won't think the dining area is open to order) I told him to I was in the drive thru line a long time and asked if I could order at the dining area. He said no. I then said that this place was so unorganized and had the wrong staff running it. There were several cars outside that seemed they had been waiting for a while. I could only see one person delivering the food to the cars. So,at that point I gave up and went home.if the service is going to be like anything it was during my experience you'll never have good reviews. I will probably give it another try and go...

Horrible ... Went to this drive in around 10:30 yesterday and order food ,and in the middle of the order they stated that there system was acting up . As soon as we got there to pay we handed over our payment {card} and thought everything would be okay!We sat there for a good 5 min after giving the card and was told that the payment was taking longer due to the fact the system is acting up again and the payment should go through.With this given my sister who was paying checked her online banking to see if the money had been taken,and the money had and stated pending (all while we were waiting for the card and receipt to be given back. After another 10min we had been told by the person who took the payment that the payment was declined but we showed him the bank saying thats not the case . He got his acting manager who stated that on there side it was declined and we showed her that not the case ,she then stated that we wouldnt get our food and the money would be returned. I stated no it wasnt declined and we need our food .She said OK we will give you this food for free and gave my sisters card back with no reciept and a rude attitude. It now a day later and the money had got pulled and we are working to get this right but no one is contacting us back . Be advised that this isnt my first run in and to always ask for a reciept and names . WE MY FAMILY WILL NO LONGER BE COMING HERE AND HOPE THEY START DOING...

NEVER EATING HERE AGAIN

I’ve given this location 3 chances and they struck out, never before have I been so dissappointed in a brand.

Strike 1 is when I tried their dine in. I went with my family and after we ordered, we waited and we got our food, except it wasn’t what we ordered. We then sent it back and they came back with the correct order, but the food was already cold! We just sat in silence and left the establishment disappointed .

Strike 2 is in the drive in/eat in ur car area. Me and my friend ordered, we got our food, once again served practically cold and we sent it back. They come back with our orders, now lukewarm, and we eat it because we were too hungry to send it back again.

Strike 3 was the last straw, me and my family were going through the drive-thru i ordered a cheeseburger and mozzarella sticks, when I get my order and we drive off, I unwrap my burger from its wrapper, and not only do I see unmelted cheese but they put the cheese below the patty! An unforgivable sin. I hope to find solace in my mozzarella sticks, but i bite only to reveal a solid inside. The cheese was not the least bit melted, it was essentially a refrigerated mozzarella stick surrounded by warm bread crumbs...

I will let you know that I will never eat here again, even if it was the only food left within a 100 mile radius. If you value your time, money and taste-buds,...
