On 9/15/24 after several moments of randomly being verbally attacked by a couple ahead of me in the drive thru, the barista stated she was refusing service to us and wanted us to leave. As we finally made the curve to exit the drive thru, two lying hostile insurance scam seeking individuals, who stated I hit their car, paid and received their order and simply drove off! Upon my arrival at the window, I asked if I could finally make my order, in which I was then told no and that service was refused to me. I asked why, as I did not understand because they had just served the instigators of this entire mishap after stating they would not. I then was told, I was not being served and, â We did not serve themâ. After just going through hell with the two lying hostile insurance scam seeking individuals, I was done. I stated that the barista she was a liar as I am not stupid, dumb, deaf or blind, and witnessed the transaction take place and it was all recorded by phone. I immediately asked for the supervisor. I was then told the supervisor was on a fifteen minute break and would not be interrupted for âthisâ. I threw my car in park and stated that was fine, Iâll wait until she returns from break. Not even two seconds later a woman approached the window taking off a headset stating she was the manager and proceeded to ask how she could assist me. In the briefest way possible I told her the story. She then said, âOk, I donât know what happenedâ. I stated that was fine and may I please get what I came for, especially since it was for my child. In turn she asked if I could exit the drive thru and come in the store. I said no, as I was already at the window, and asked again asked if I could proceed to order or, were they in fact refusing service to me and did I need to file a complaint for racial discrimination at this location? The supervisor then belittled me, made light of the severity of the situation by chuckling , calling me honey, and asked if I knew what racial discrimination was. As I did not mention beforehand, I am a black woman, the two lying hostile insurance scam seeking individuals, are either Hispanic or Latin, whom they served. No one person on that shift was black, they were either Hispanic, Latin, and white, which she already knew, yet I still had to bring that to her attention in order for her to remember what racial discrimination was and or looked like. The refusal of service should have been in effect if for anything, that customers caused a disruption which caused the productivity of the business to cease. This wasnât the case since Starbucks employees decided to extend service to one party and not the other. No one could tell me why I was refused service when the offending customers werenât treated this way. And at that moment the supervisor knew she had a problem she needed to solve or a lawsuit would most certainly ensue. Magically, in order to save her behind, service was no longer refused to me and I could order at the window. The manager proceeded to ask for my name and info so she could, âreview the cameras laterâ⌠She had my info from me scanning my code so I did not give it to her and she wasnât interested in looking into the situation by viewing the cameras when I told her what occurred. She only showed âconcernâ once the word discrimination came up. This was the last time that I would be going to this location and the chain of stores for a while. Had the drink not been for my son, I would have never been there. Yet, had the incident occurred and my child was not present, for all who are thinking, why would I continue to spend my money there⌠Starbucks serving me would have had to had taken place, due to the fact that the employees at Starbucks chose to pick sides on the matter due to them not refusing service to both parties as previously stated. I hate that I had to defend myself from foolish customers as well as foolish Starbucks employees. Next time, should something like this occur, keep your personal biases aside Starbucks employees⌠you all almost cost the...
Read moreThis was the first time that I actually got out of the car and went inside to this one I actually prefer the drive-thru on this one I'm going to say I usually place my order and pay for it and go pick it up except for this one I usually do the drive-thru so Steve girls on the inside that work the counter not as nice as the ones at the window my drink look pretty ugly but I just picked up which is unusual for this place usually they make my drinks the prettiest other than one other exception over by the Sand Creek Kaiser their drinks are usually the second best around Antioch so I usually drive out of my way to go to the one by Kaiser or go to this one right off the freeway because when you spend $10 for a drink he expected to look pretty as well expect it to look as good as it's going to taste and you expect the people that serve it to you to have a beautiful smile an attitude as well that was not the case this time I walked right past the little area to take put the mobile orders because it's the first place that I've actually ever seen and mobile order area kind of weird how they just set your drinks there for anybody to pick up as they walk in and out nobody's watching them somebody just said something in them kind of weird and there's no interaction at all if you just walk in and grab your stuff and they expect a tip so that's kind of weird I'm used to my order being right next to where it's being made and left there so that I can see the people who make it not walk up to a little stand and just grab whatever name I think that I deserve or want that day I especially don't expect to be greeted or not greeted by somebody who said what are you doing what are you waiting for are you waiting for a mobile order he passed it there over there she's very rude and personable and I doubt she ever gets tips but that ugly look on her face the girl moving the tables around outside didn't look like she want to be there either she was throwing the tables around back and forth that should be a two-person job two people should be out there doing it together nicely not just tossing the tables around cuz it's raining I don't know what happened to that spot but I miss the old people that were there I will not return there...
Read moreThe worst service at this location. It's unbelievable. I came on the 10.28.23 and 10.30.23 early mornings. First time I came I was refused water because I asked for it at the window after placing my order. The 2nd time there were 4 ladies behind the window. 2 were healthy women and two youngsters. I asked the name of the young girls working there and they got very offended gave me a horrible attitude and in return asked me what wa say name.l was sarcasticly. They made comments " I don't need to tell you my name" one of them laughed at me and said "what's your name" I told her to look in the system I just made a purchase. Very rude, no greeting, dressed up very unprofessional. I asked for a bag i was baging my items as i was getting it from the young girl. The panini i odered was thrown un the bag it came in. All i did was ask for a receipt. I even said i am not tryingto offend ylu pleae give me your name. I am a regular at Starbucks NEVER experienced this poor level of service.
